To The Ocean Deep: The Longest Coloring Book in the World Review: 15 Feet of continuous coloring fun with lots of silly and fun Ocean designs - printed on one side of continuous fold-out page - I recently finished my first fold-out kind of coloring book (by another publisher) and having enjoyed that one so much, I decided to try out the really long fold-out design by artist Sarah Yoon. This coloring book unfolds in a continuous sheet to a full fifteen feet long. The ocean background is pre-colored in a light to deep green (it gets darker as you get closer to the bottom.) The actual designs are black lines on white. I found that the pages are a little to maneuver unless you have a really big area in which you color. I found that folding the pages the opposite direction from the way they came also helped keep the fold-out manageable. The design concept is a long tower that reaches from a ship at the surface of the ocean down to the ocean floor. Above the ship are what looks like cloud cities so you have some fun to color at the top as well. The tower is filled with all sorts of characters and elements – it reminds me of some of the crazy cartoon designs I used to see in Mad magazine as a child. There are robots, castles, sea creatures, stairways, trees and more. They make up the pathway to the ocean bottom where a treasure chest awaits you. This is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing my various coloring medium on the paper. 15 page continuous fold-out cartoon Ocean theme designs Printed on one side of the page Paper is heavyweight, lightly smooth, filled background, non-perforated. The final page is glued to the cardboard backing while the other 14 pages fold out. Cover (front and back) is a lightweight cardboard. Alcohol-based markers seep through the paper Water-based markers, India ink artist pens and gel pens did not seep through the paper Colored pencils worked well with this paper. I was able to get good color, layer, and blend well with both oil and wax based pencils. Review: Deeply imaginative, creative and quirky. - Deeply imaginative, creative and quirky. Although I have not tried water based mediums to test the paper quality, it seems solidly better than the regular desertcart printing paper. An excellent adult coloring book well worth the price I paid for it.

Deeply imaginative, creative and quirky. Although I have not tried water based mediums to test the paper quality, it seems solidly better than the regular amazon printing paper. An excellent adult coloring book well worth the price I paid for it.

Plenty of details. You see more every time you look at it!
This is the most ingenious idea ever for an adult coloring book! It really is over 15 feet long! All the little details as you are traveling down to the ocean bottom are so entertaining! So cute and quirky! This one I got for my son. I also bought the "To the Moon" book for me. We are going to check in with each other every couple weeks and see who's ahead!

This is a LONG TERM project for the adult coloring book enthusiast!
This will take me a year to color but I'm up to the challenge! If you like adult coloring books, this is an interesting take on that trend. The book folds out vertically to 15 feet tall, making a deep ocean scene. Lots of interesting things to color while your deep in thought. This artist has created another book as well, To the Moon, and both are equally detailed.

Perfect gift for serious colorers!
I received one several years ago as a gift and loved it, so I got a couple for my mom, who loves them too! Great for those that like to experiment with chalk, pastels, markers, etc. Able to use different mediums to really customize

Endless Coloring !
It's so much fun to color. There are fine details as well as some white spaces. This is perfect to color for all levels and ages. The only con is coloring in the areas where it was folded.

More creative than most "adult coloring" books and my 10 year old niece loved it. A fun project to color together and fun to discover the art and the 'hidden' characters and objects throughout the pages. Most other adult colouring graphics are just symmetrical and get boring after a while. The paper is nice and think so my sharpie markers don't bleed through (you can see it on the otherside of the page, but it doesn't leak any further) and sharpies give a nice even colour.
