Let me state that I have not given this to my 2 year old grandson yet, as it is a Christmas gift. I'll try to remember to update the review after I do. However, my husband and I did take it out of the box, put it on the counter, and test it with our hands. We did not want to get dog fur on it from the floor or subject it to our larger-than-children sizes. Anyway, the keyboard was super-cute, easy to unpack and pack back up in the box, and worked perfectly. We checked all of the keys, all of the various instruments, the volume control, and the record and playback functions. All worked great. Some have said that the piano doesn't have great sound ... it doesn't sound like a Steinway baby grand, but it does have clear piano-sounding notes. The sounds for the horn, guitar, and other instrument settings are also reminiscent of the real instrument. If you're looking for an orchestral sound, you aren't going to get it. If you are looking for a well-made toy that has good sound on which a child could play tunes, this will be a great fit. Oh, and it was able to play multiple keys at once, so two children could play together. As for long-term durability, I'll have to let you know. So far, super happy!

Toddler loved running across the mat and experimenting with tiptoeing too. Lots of laughs. It will slide on wood floors so be sure to choose carefully where you use it, in case your little one likes to run across the keys.

My almost 3 yr old daughter love this item. My 11, 17, 23, 34 and 60 yrs old relatives love this item too. Its very entertaining and will keep you up on your feet! (literally.....lol) The only thing I would change is that the volume does not save when you first turn it on. So if you turn it off and then on, the amount of volume is too much and when kids do not realize how loud it gets it could be a bit of an annoyance. However, you can manually lower the volume as desired. Also, the dash-box that omits the volume and other music sounds, its very gentle. I feel as if it hits something, it will not work properly. I have rugs at home so I feel that the piece will last more than if anyone who has hard floors. (Maybe PRODUCTION should add a piece of rubber like material underneath the dash-box so when it hits the floor the piece would not crash/get damaged) Other than that, we are very please with the product. You won't regret it and for the price it is a good piece. The rest of the material look strong.

My grandkids like it. It is a little confusing how to really play the instruments. They don't exactly work when you push them but it's a work in progress. Hopefully it will get easier the more we use it.

I purchased this as a BD present for my nephew's 2 yo son, they live in Seattle so I had it sent directly to them. They also have 4 yo twins (boy & girl) and an 11 yo boy. My nephew called me to tell me they had received it as indicated and he had just opened it and the kids were having a lot of fun on it. I could hear them laughing in the background running across the keys and the music was loud. I did let him know about some of the reviews on how the music is really loud when you first turn it on so he was thrilled to be able to lower the volume. He said he would email me a video of the kids playing on it, but I never got it. Either way he said they really liked it, it worked great and that it was a perfect gift for all his kids.

Super easy to set up, pop 4 AA batteries in and lay it out. Sounds good and the options are endless. I have 4 kids and they love it, they have also abused this keyboard, dragging it from room to room because it is light weight. So far it still works. My favorite function is the volume button since on start up it's pretty loud. So free time play is fun but when they need to be quiet it's still holds their attention. Buttons are sensitive enough to have half a dozen kids over and no one feel left out. Other mom's have already ordered this after seeing it. *adults can play too

Bought the musical mat as a Xmas present for my 5-year old grandson. Turned out to be amusing for adults as well as children. It is easy to install, easy to carry, the sound is great and it livened up our family reunion. Everyone wanted to try their luck at it. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and highly recommend it.

I initially purchased this keyboard for my 3 and 2 year olds. It is large (around 5 feet). They absolutely love it! They can both go on it and dance around. There is multiple options for different sound effects and you can record/playback songs you made. It comes with pre programs beats as well. Needless to say, my 10 and 12 year olds love ot as well. Me and my husband even played with it. My only dislike is when the keyboard is not played with for around 5 minutes, it goes back to default settings. So if you turned to keyboard down to a comfortable listening tone, it will get quite loud again and younger children may get startled. Other than that, it is a great product and fun for the whole family.
