Happy birthday Dad
Got these along with toffee candy for my dad's 93rd birthday. He's Scottish and hard to buy for at his age. They were really good. I buy these and the toffee every year and he looks forward to it.

tasty but crumbling
It was just a can of crumbs when it arrived.

Product ruined, cannot return.
Don't waste your money! This is a superb brand, but this particular can arrived dented, the shortbread cookies were crumbled, AND the expiration date had been taped over and I could not see it! (Yes, I tried to remove the label) Cannot return. Don't use Amazon, just order from the shortbread company online. That is what I have always done. These are made in Scotland.

These are very good quality shortbread snacks in a nice tin but they are quite expensive, perhaps it may be worth waiting for a sale before getting these but they do make good gifts

If you are looking for a gift, I highly recommend this product. I gifted this to a foodie living overseas & got a rave review. Before I decided to which shortbread to gift, I ordered different shortbreads from different manufacturers. I ordered more expensive shortbread for comparison. I liked the the product from the Shortbread House the best. It is the most buttery & crumbly shortbread. If you like hard shortbread, maybe you won’t care for it. But, if you like crumbly shortbread, this is a great option. The only downside is that I don’t like the design of the tin. If the design were nicer,so I could reuse it for something else.

OK, so these are sold to be given as a gift and come in a rather boring looking tin! My wife loves shortbread biscuits and these were bought as a stocking filler last Christmas. The biscuits themselves are nice enough - quite tasty with chocolate bits. They crumble in the mouth leaving a nice butterly taste. But, although my wife enjoyed them and quite liked the tin (since used to store biscuits we've bought since) she rated them as "no better than the ones she regularly buys in Lidl or ASDA!! I'm not such a big fan of shortbread biscuits as my wife but I can see that neither the quality or quantity of them justifies the price. Simply not worth the money!

These biscuits are good, crisp and tasty shortbread. But they are not chocolate covered, they contain small chocolate chips. So if you seek choc chips, go ahead. If you seek proper chocolate- covered biscuits, look elsewhere. Happy Christmas
