The best quality chiles i have come across. Great flavor and they are very fresh and not dried out like ones at the store. The more fresh and good quality chiles makes a difference

Superior Quality!
I bought these to go in a salsa recipe I found. These peppers are of superior quality and loaded with flavor! So tasty was the Roasted Tomato Cashew Salsa, I feel compelled to share the recipe so you’ll know that these peppers are the ones to buy! Delicious!!: INGREDIENTS ⅓ cup cashews 6 dried cascabel chiles or 3 pasilla chiles, seeds removed 2 morita chiles 4 large tomatoes, cored 2 garlic cloves 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 2 teaspoons kosher salt RECIPE PREPARATION Preheat oven to 350°. Arrange cashews on one side of a rimmed baking sheet and chiles on the other. Toast until chiles are fragrant, about 5 minutes. Remove chiles from baking sheet, then continue roasting nuts, tossing once, until golden brown, 8–10 minutes. Let cool. Remove and discard stems from chiles. Increase oven temperature to 450°. Roast tomatoes on a clean rimmed baking sheet until skin is browned and beginning to separate from flesh, 30–35 minutes. Transfer to a blender and add garlic, lime juice, and salt; blend until smooth. Add chiles and blend until coarsely chopped. Add cashews and pulse until coarsely chopped, about 5 pulses.

Fresh, soft peppers
These arrived on time and are so much higher quality than you'll find in a grocery store. I used to buy my peppers all the time in a grocery store when I lived on the west coast. Now I'm in NC and you can't find them locally very often. Even if I could, I'm buying all my peppers from here going forward. Looking forward to some Birria beef tomorrow!

Yummmmmy!
These are perfect! I cook many recipes from Bobby Flay, and he always uses a crazy amount of chiles that I can never find at my local supermarket. I always buy this brand when I need to use ancho chiles because they are super fresh and flavorful. They always make recipes taste amazing :) I recently used them to make birria tacos, and they were out of this world good. I used to use ancho chili powder as a substitute for dried chilis, but, trust me, there is NO COMPARISON! These are essential if you want your dishes to knock your socks off :)

Used for mole
The mole came out well, so I assume the peppers are good quality - I'm not a pepper connoisseur or anything... But mine came with a living, flying bug inside the bag which scared the living crap out of me. That being said, I'm here ordering another bag. (Surely it won't happen twice, right?)

Packs a Punch
This product was shipped extremely fast and delivered within 2 days. It was vacuumed sealed and packed safely where the product could not be torn or opened during transit. The packaging has a ziplock, so you're not left trying to use a chip clip to close the bag. These peppers are powerful. Even considering the SHU's compared to other chili peppers, these pack some heat. As you may not know, smaller peppers tend to be more spicy, and these prove just that. Very versatile to use; pureed for salsa (like I did first), chopped and stir-frying with veggies and rice, and much more to come. My advice to anyone unfamiliar with these chilis...use with caution. That saying "a little goes a long way" rings true here. Start off light and add more as needed; once that heat is there, ain't no going back! LOVE IT!!

Perfect for making Mole and other sauces.
I have tried other brands to make Mole and these are definitely the best. The are a good size and fresher than others, which makes seeding and stemming them easier. Other brands are so dry (stale) that you lose half the chile trying to separate the seeds and stems from the chile. The taste is also much richer and fresher due to the quality. Also, these are available in a 1lb bag for a much better price. Despite the chiles being softer and easier to work with, I was still able to grind them to make my own ancho powder for other uses.

The best!
I love these because they are packaged so well. The chiles stay fresh and soft for a very long time. The flavor is delicious. Super easy to deseed as well as no weird stickiness in the ancho chiles. Love these, and will only buy these from now on.
