This book helps to explain different scenarios you could encounter while carrying out EICRs. As a beginner, really helped to understand some of the language used.

I had the previous version of this book and it’s been updated to the latest amendment 2 changes. It’s such a valuable tool. It’s not just codings for EICR’s. There’s plenty of other reading material to learn/reference. The books from Napit are always good, easy to navigate and well priced.

It is important to remember this is a guide. There are other publications as well. Electricians judgement rules the day. It is an excellent guide though and some usefull extra info in the back.

Really helps to pinpoint that fault you know is there but can’t quite detail. Also worth a read for faults you may not have considered before. READ THE WHOLE BOOK! There’s tonnes of other stuff in it that’s fantastic.

The contents of this book is great however it is unacceptably damaged. The top left hand side of the book on all pages is water damaged. This is strange because the packaging is not wet and therefore seems like the book was damaged prior to posting. Very disappointing 😟
