This is a great cube, very good quality. The features in the app make for a great learning tool. I will say compared to a normal speed cube like a GAN 12 it is heavier and can catch a bit more but you get used to it very quick, it’s expected considering it’s Bluetooth!

My 11 year old nephew had this as a gift. He connected it to his iPad with ease and has since spent hours enjoying the various features and trying to beat his PB.

I wanted to love this. I bought it because I thought it would be fun to learn to cube. But the app is so terrible. Even if you select English as the language a lot of buttons appear in Chinese - no idea what they said. More importantly, I was expecting it to contain a training program, but it just had a few links to "how to" videos. The app will give you a step by step solution for any scramble, but with no narrative you are just mindlessly following steps on a screen. It also doesn't judge the cube orientation very well so what's on screen is maybe 90 degrees off what's on your hand. I suspect this is fixable but only if you read Chinese and can understand the untranslated sections of the app.You might as well save your money by buying a non-smart (dim?) cube and watching YouTube. Disappointed and will return this.

App is useful but the cube is slow, better to get a gancube 12 ui instead.

I am comparing it to RS3M and YS3M. This one mechanically speaking is poor in turning speed. I have to apply more force and effort that I would like to make the moves. Bluetooth tracks orientation and turns as expected. I like it for training algorithms in Cubeast, but I would rather search for a different smart cube.
