Cord is nice and long

I got these with the idea that I was going to make my own light fixtures, but I only ever ended up using it as-is. I do have to say that the cord stayed nice and white even though my place gets a lot of dust. It also never broke, even though I often closed the door on it and stepped on the switch (to turn it on and off) daily. It wasn't the most elegant thing in my place, but I was surprised at the quality for how little I paid. My only gripe is that the switch seems to be in an odd place; it seems to be perfectly in the center of the cord, instead of being 3-5 feet from the plug. I'm assuming most people have the cord lifted up the wall, if this were lifted the switch would be near the ceiling, rather than chest height (like most switches). I'm a heathen and just leave it dragging on the ground, with the light-bulb end just dangling from a hook in the ceiling. This leaves the cord piled up, and the switch laying on the ground, if I tap it with my foot it works really good for turning it on-and-off. It still seems kind of poorly thought out though.

If only the switch is little bit far from plug. You know, electric plug is always low closer to ground. I need to bend my body to operate the switch. Other than that, good product.

Baught these for a backyard party. The extension with the socket worked fantastic fory event,. I had no issues and for the price I am pleased.

I used it to hang a bug zapper light for flying insects . Worked great. This product is good for many uses

Got these for my bedroom and office in my new apartment since they had no light fixtures. 100% one of the best things I've bought for the apartment. Installing them is SUPER easy and now we have an actual overhead light for both of those rooms.I would look closely at the length though because we have a lot of cord left over between the plug and the switch (which we don't use anyway because our outlets are connected to the light switches). It isn't an issue as we just looped them together and used the twist tie they come with to secure them.

I am still using this product for running a light into my closet. I has worked flawlessly for at least a month now. There are only two downsides to this product and neither of them are bad, just for personal use it can be mildly annoying. First is that it comes with a nice little hanger hook, but the hanger hook doesn't keep it from sliding. (eg: when running it across rafters you can't have slack on one end or the light bulb will continue falling to the floor.) My 2nd mild inconvenience is that the on/off switch is in the middle of the cord, not right off either end. so its at an odd 3/4 way up my wall that I can never find in the dark. Overall I highly recommend this item.
