I’m a mama to 3 kids ages 4 and under and am able to read both the daily bible and companion between 15-30 minutes keeping in mind I’m a very slow reader and will reread to process better and I take notes! So I would be on the longer side! I just think you can’t have the Bible without the companion-it makes you think differently and really clears a lot up! At the beginning it also has all the books of the Bible and short summaries of who the author was and where it took place it’s importantance etc! Can’t wait for today’s read! For the first time ever I’m not so overwhelmed or discouraged with how much to read. Or it being to hard to get into-understanding-old Testament has been a struggle for me in the past and I had found myself just reading it to say I had but this bible and companion makes you really understand and want to keep coming back to read more. It’s the perfect amount of reading everyday to let you read it and have time to think about it and let it sink in! Also I would recommend the large print bible! I almost missed that option!

I bought this to replace its original version which I have been using for years and is now beaten up and unusable. I wouldn't be without it.
