It's a great holder for smaller kits like the 1/144 hg gundams. 1/100 have too many runners so I don't recommend this product for the 1/100

I’ve got spruce trees in this as I write this … I can say that it works … it does in fact hold sprue trees … but … it doesn’t hold them as nicely as they show in the picture … let’s face it … when we get a model the sprue trees are rarely intact … parts come off during shipping the trees are not as pretty as what they show … more likely they will have parts that are barely hanging on and some bent out of place leaving nowhere to set the tree into the holder and they fall out or over and knock out other trees and parts …So … maybe a good value for those rare occasions when you have a good shipment … maybe if you’re painting a whole tree …I’m going to say it’s “nice to have” not a necessity!
