I buy because you get "3 picks-in-one". Also, a few other reasons..
You MUST try the .50 mm picks. Unless you use huge thick strings, these are so effortless, and permit hours of playing with minimal fatigue. Speed picking will almost instantly improve due to their "give" when hitting the strings. Best of all, there are 3 points to wear down, instead of only 1. GREAT workhorse picks. The not so good.. They have a weird chimey, twangy initial picking sound when striking the strings, likely due to the material they are made of. It's not terribly bad, and if you are just practicing and/or jamming out, it shouldn't be much of a bother. When it's time to record, or play a gig that actually matters, switch over to the .50 red Flow picks, which are even pointier, and will permit even faster playing without that chimey twangy picking sound. That said, the point on these picks may be a bit too round for some.

Good picks!
All I know is I like guitar picks that are the same shape all around no matter how you hold them. I like the bigger size, easier to hold, and these have a nice grip to them.
