Maria Nila Colour Refresh, 10.1 Fl Oz, Hair Mask, Semi-Permanent Pigments, 100% Vegan & Sulfate/Paraben free

I colored my hair for the first time in over 15 years, usually my go to is a dark auburn, I like reds for my skin tone. I tried a new color, all natural, recommended by a friend and the color was supposed to be dark red. It turned my hair a horrible copper penny color, very light and harsh. I did not want to re-dye and through research found this product, read every single review and ordered. I got the cacao intense as I needed to darken but hopefully keep the red tones. My hair is short, very fine and thin so it didn't take much product. I was nervous about how dark it would be so I diluted with some water, put on damp hair, applied with a toothbrush which worked really well and once saturated combed through. I didn't want to leave on too long, the directions said 3-7 minutes so I did approx. 4, rinsed and conditioned. The results were amazing. I wanted it a bit darker, still had a bit of copper shine so I reapplied but this time did not dilute and I kept is on longer, maybe 5-7 min. I am so amazed by how well this worked. The color came out so good, exactly as I wanted and my hair is super soft. I used Carols Daughter Goddess strength fortifying conditioner after rinsing and my hair looks and feels amazing. I saw many comments in the reviews that said it stained the tub or sink and to be sure to wear gloves but using the toothbrush and comb I didn't need gloves and if any color got in the sink while applying I rinsed right then and no problems at all. The tub is fine as well. I would say do first application on the cautious side, diluted and for a short period and see how it looks as you can reapply if it's not there yet. So happy I found this. In regards to some saying it's expensive, it's really not. The tub will last for many applications especially if you have shorter fine hair like mine. So totally worth it and it saved the day.

Good but leaves your hands and shower red

Tried other brands, but keep going to this one. My hair is blond going grey. And Maria Nila offers the most complimentary shades for me. After use it leaves my hair soft and shiny.

I loved the autumn red. It was perfect for the few partial highlights i had and gave the hair a nice red tint. I would use once or twice a month to up keep. Had a nice slow fade to it after multiple washes. After having a great experience with the red, I tried the cocoa intense and was left unfortunately disappointed. It would do a lightly dark tint on my hair but fade after a single wash. Wish it was darker and more intense in color like the red.

Absolutely love this product, I had copper red hair for about 2 years. It can be pretty hard to maintain as red fades pretty easily. My hair dresser recommended this product though and it was a life saver not only did it keep my color fresh but left my hair super soft! I highly recommend also make sure to use gloves while using, it will stain your hands! Currently, transitioning back to my natural dark brown and will be trying out the cacoa intense between glosses while my natural hair grows back in!

I love this product! I have bright red hair and even with really good products and washing it infrequently, it fades. I have a neutral skin tone that looks awful with the orange red fades down to. I’ve used many color enhancing conditioners but they always either leave my color too brown, too orange, or just I sufficiently vivid. The bright red it a perfect cool red, it deposits well, it smells lovely, and makes my hair soft. Like any red color enhancing shampoo it can stain so be careful but ty also means it lasts nicely. I actually get lots of compliments on the red post refresh. I’m hooked!

Waste of money, returned. Doesn't do anything even after leaving on for 30+ minutes with more than enough product

Ho i capelli rosso rame naturale ma vista l’età tendono a schiarirsi e a imbiondirsi. Volevo qualcosa che me li facesse tornarare ramati più scuri ma non mi falsasse il colore naturale. La prima volta ho lasciato in posa 5 minuti. Eccome se lascia i riflessi! A me sembra che tinga, forse non funzionerà sui capelli scuri ma sui miei ha funzionato ottimamente. Li lascia anche lucidi morbidi e profumati. Non ho tantissimi capelli bianchi ma ha dorato pure quelli, in ogni caso per il mo caso fa quello che deve e raffrontato ad altri prododtti naturali non c’è paragone, questo funziona meglio. Vedremo quanto dura dato che ho appena fatto per la prima volta l’esperimento, ma da un riflessante non si può pretendere quello che fa una tinta. Questo è un riflessante che sui mie capelli quasi tinge e nel giusto modo perchè non è una tonalità falsa che per il colore rame è già tanto! AGGIORNAMENTO: ho lasciato in posa un’ora e ha coperto la ricrescita dorando per bene i capelli bianchi sia alla radice che dalle basette (punto critico): da due mesi non faccio tinta e i miei capelli ringraziano. Come ho già detto, io sono rossa naturale, non so se è particolarmente adatto ai miei capelli ma con me funziona molto bene, Inoltre, ho comprato il sand e il silver per la base dove ci sono i capelli bianchi e appunto il risultato è ottimo... Fantastico acquisto, sono soddisfatta nonostante il prezzo vale decisamente la pena (costa di più andare dalla parrucchiera e i capelli con le tinte si rovinano mentre con questi prodotti si rigenerano). PS per togliere la tendenza verso l’ottone/giallo ho usato anche il sheer silver maschera e balsamo, aiuta molto.

Excellent copper colour! Instructions of 3 to 10 minutes are perfect to warm up copper and blonde. Leave on for longer to brighten copper and extend time between colours. Long lasting but doesn't stain hands, towels etc.

Yes yes yes!!! Exactly what I needed to refresh my red-auburn hair which started fading a few days after salon dye. This was my hair before and after. HIGHLY recommend.

My hair was damaged and over-bleached as I wanted to warm my face with highlights from my black hair.. I bought in cocoa and it saved my hair. Have a brown color hair with subtle highlights. The quality of my hair is amazing. Beautiful color as well. It doesn't cover grey. So I went to a salon to cover my roots and the stylist use a very dark color so now I want to do something to bring a lighter color to my roots. I wonder if I can use my nila color in my dark-tinted hair. Would the cicka color light up a black hair?
