Irish Setter Men's 3819 Lakeside Slip-On Boat Shoe

I've been eyeing these at my local Red Wing Shoe Store for some time. I went on Amazon.com and found them much cheaper. When they arrived I was surprised by how much darker they were from the ones in the store. Which was a good thing for me because they look good in casual and dress casual attire. I was pleasantly surprised; plus they fit great and are comfortable and durable. Great shoes but expect a med to dark brown hue. Not khaki or tan.

Irish Setter is a brand made by Red Wing, the totally uncool manufacturer of work shoes for men and women. I wasn't aware they made casual shoes similar to Sperry, Rockport and other better-known producers.These shoes are just as stylish and far more comfy than the Rockport's I usually purchase. And, as a rule, I can find them online at cheaper prices. I own this pair and its clone, the 3820 (which has a khaki fabric accent instead of green) and I get compliments on them all of the time.Thus far, I have found them sturdy and well-constructed.They look good with business casual attire, with or without socks, and I tend to wear them any time I am not wearing sports shoes or summer flip flops.

Great casual shoe. Offers lots of comfortable support, is very durable and stylish. Construction is excellent. My first pair will be a year old in May, I wear them nearly every day and will definitely reorder when these finally die.

I tried Irish Setter because the Sperry and WM boat shoes I've bought over the past four years wore out in less than a year. These seem well made and are very comfortable. I'd give them 5 stars if the laces stayed tied.

I have several different styles of Iris Setter shoes and one pair of boots. These are the best wearing shoes and boots that I own. I am concerned about replacing the heel because the heel is all rubber.My first three pair did not have rubber heels. May-be I should find out about sending them back to the manufacture when needed??V/RTommy

Again quality comes to the front with Red Wing/Irish Setter products. The fit was a described and the arch support was much better than expected. Spent a little more than I want to but the extra dollars were worth it. Well satisfied.

Quality shoe. This is maybe my 5th pair over perhaps 7 years. They fit great and wear like iron. Dressy enough to go most anywhere.

Have wanted a pair for years, but always settled for cheapOs that barely lasted a year. Pulled the trigger this year & kicking myself for waiting. Great fit (FYI- don’t guess, get your foot measured. I bought 12-13 for years only to learn I’m a 11.5EE). Great comfort. Haven’t had long enough to speak to quality, but have no concerns there
