Motorola Moto G 5G | 2022 | 2-Day Battery | Unlocked | Made for US 6/256GB | 50 MP Camera | Moonlight Gray

I bought this Moto g 6G 2022 model ...without even considering an alternative .... to replace a 2018 model of the same phone that had developed an electrical problem. It is an incredibly feature-rich marvel that has everything you would get in an I-phone, at 1/4 the price. It would probably take more than a whole day to explore this amazing device in some detail, but it is pretty intuitive. Whenever I made a mistake in getting it set up, the Help menu has clear and complete answers for every little issue I ran into. My old phone was inoperative so, I manually re-entered all my most important personal contacts, only to find out later on that I needed not have done that, for I was able to transfer all of them via Google. Pairing the phone with my car audio system was a snap as well. Not that I needed another camera ... I have four "real" ones ... but this phone has a 50 MP one with 4 lenses in the rear, plus a front-facing one for selfies., Nor did I really need a mini tablet PC ... i have 2 desktops, a laptop and a tablet. But this phone does everything a PC can do, only faster ... texting, e-mails, news, streaming videos, access to any Website, you name it, it does it. In a word, I am enthusiasticallly embracing this new toy and will continue to explore all the features I have yet to try. For $300, you can't beat the value! '

This is my main phone. I've now had it for over a month. As you read on you'll see my impressions after 2 weeks. I just want to add, I am thrilled with this phone after over a month and lots of use. Battery is great, not two days, but a whole day. Everything about it very good. Of course, I don't know about longevity, but if this phone continues for a year or so as it is now it will above 5 stars to me. I've had this about 2 weeks. I tried 2 other phones and returned them without any hassle. Thank you Amazon. But this phone was under $200 and I'm very happy with it. The 6 gb ram is very efficient and the 256 gb storage is more than enough plus I get to keep photos and docs on an SD card. I don't play games beyond solitaire and gin rummy so a super phone with high end specs for sophisticated games is obviously not a priority. I read a lot so I'll have a book, dictionary, Wikipedia, email, and text open at same time and there is no lag when switching between apps. Photos are fine for me. Not and expert photographer so was not looking for phone to double as top of line camera. But photos are excellent for my standards. Screen is bright and clear. It has good receiver for phone calls, I'm on Tello. Calls are clear and not one drop so far. I have another phone other than Motorola that drops calls. I contribute the drops to the receiver unit in the phone. I have two Motorola cells and both have good receiver capabilities. Wifi is both 5g and 2.4g and again, great speedy connection. I use ATT wifi. I also use the phone to keep track of my steps. That's important to me. It is very accurate if that's a priority to you. Also it connects to my Samsung Galaxy Watch with no problems. The 6.5 inch screen is a perfect size for me. My only wish is that it were a bit lighter, but not as heavy as the Moto G stylus I also have. Overall, if you're looking for an above average phone with good battery life and under or near $200 I would recommend the Moto G 5g.

NOTE EDITS BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like the phone but to be honest, the battery barely lasts the day and there is no way it would make two days. The battery is like an old phone requiring charging overnight and once during the day. I bought one for me, the one I am referring to. I just got one for my wife. We'll see how her battery life lasts. I may have to trade this one in. EDIT 1: My wife and I have been using two of these phones for a month now. We have noted several things. First, neither phone has a charge life of two days. Note also that we do not watch movies or listen to music on our phones. We do use the phones for reading news and the occasional video found there. We don't YouTube. It appears that an overnight charge, waking up to 100% will last a day with moderate usage. Second, the phones charge REALLY SLOW compared to other phones we have owned. We have an electrical outlet in the kitchen with with two USB charging ports built in. In the past we have had Samsung and Nokia phones. These ports charged both brands surprisingly fast. They charge our iPads surprisingly fast. They charge these Motorola phones SLOW. Third, I have tried multiple charging equipment and cable configurations with the same result. These phones charge very slowly compared to other phones and tablets. MY (CURRENT CONCLUSION): If you use your phone a lot for calls, texting and email it is borderline. An overnight charge should get you through the day. If you watch movies, lots of video media, listen to music along with all the other more traditional uses of cell phones I doubt it will get you through the day without requiring a recharge. IF you do require a recharge during the day, understand that it probably will take more time than you are used to. I will probably just keep the phone since it hasn't presented any serious disadvantages for my usage profile. But knowing what I know today, I probably wouldn't have bought this phone. The funny thing is, my first smart phone was a Motorola and IIRC, my second one was too. I don't remember having these battery issues. But I might not have known any better back then.

I AM NOW ON MY 3RD MOTOROLA PHONE , BUT THIS MOTOROLA 5 G HAS GONE "ROGUE / STUPID" ITALKBACK UNCONTROLLABLE , RENDERING PHONE USELESS .HAVE HAD TO BORROW MY OLD MOTOROLA BACK FROM MY DAUGHTER , VERY EMBARRASSING AND FRUSTRATING.I NEED A PERTH WESTERN AUSTRALIA ADDRESS TO HAVE IT EXAMINED , OTHERWISE I WIL BE CLAIMING "UNFIT FOR USE " WHICH ENTERS THE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OF AUSTRALIA.QUESTION IS ...WILL AMAZON RESPOND AT ALL????????

Tras casi un año de comprarlo... Excelente procesamiento, gran precio... Mucha batería, pero mala cámara frontal y trasera... A mí que no me suele importar mucho la cámara, la noté deficiente, así que no es opción recomendada si se requiere una cámara decente... La carga optimizada me encanta, pues me permite dejar toda la noche cargando mi celular sin temor a que se sobrecaliente o sobrecargue .. Por su precio, gran opción, rápido y eficaz con su batería. De parte de Amazon, entregado en tiempo y forma, buen embalaje
