This product is very easy to work with. I had an old metal cabinet that had rust spots on the metal, at the bottom. I had already prepped the area because I was trying to get rid of the rust, and it just looked terrible. I used the contact paper, which has a look and feel of metal. I also used this contact paper, many years ago on a small refrigerator, that was in good condition, but needed a change, so I used the contact paper, and it still looks good. It is durable, washable, easy to apply, and hasn't peeled. Great value for all the benefits one receives by purchasing this product.

I used this to cover the front of our white ice maker in order to make it match our other stainless appliances. The material itself is fairly thick, fairly stiff. You have to be careful adhering it to the surface, it really sticks! So go slow and make sure you don't get bubbles or wrinkles. But, if you're careful it turns our looking great, and pretty much matches our stainless appliances. Plus, this is a pretty big roll, and I have lots left over for other projects. It's an easy and cheap way to dress up your appliances.

I purchased this to make a costume, so my experience may differ from yours if you are using it on a countertop. I’m fairly handy, but I found this a bit tricky to use. Repositioning is difficult, so I struggled with that a bit. However, when I did get it smooth, with no air bubbles, it looked good. One caution to mention, the stainless steel can peel away from the adhesive backing if you’re not careful. I overlapped two pieces on accident, and when I peeled them apart, one piece pulled completely apart, leaving me with a portion with no adhesive. Lesson learned-

This stuff is so awesome! Only problems were user issues being me, I lined it up a little off. The section was so long I chose not to take it off and realign. I just trimmed the extra off and then over lapped the next row straight. You can’t tell at all. I am new at using sticky paper but this kind was super easy! I am so happy with the project. It looks exactly how my son and I wanted it to be! We longed the underside of his loft bed to cover the plywood underneath. It added great reflective light when we add the led lights it will really kick it up a notch. Makes it look sleek and industrial. Love it! The paper is thick like there is actual metal in it and was super easy to apply, no bubbles! I used a cake fondant smoother to help guide the paper down and it stuck just right. Thank you!

Roll arrived in good condition. Adhesive is weak. It fell from top of cabinet the day after I put it up. So, I used a stronger spray glue on the rest. Thickness would be good enough for a back splash and appliances. I wouldn't use it on a kitchen counter top. Even after rolling it in the opposite direction, it tends to curl. Need to watch that it doesn't stick to itself. Once aligned, it's easy to apply. Using a towel to smooth it prevents scratching or tearing it.

Originally bought to cover my already silver backsplash that I had stained and messed up with bleach so it looked dirty though it wasn’t, I felt it looked very ugly. Now I’ve covered with this silver contact paper and I am so beyond happy I have a silver clean look again! Took 10 minutes or less! :) only issue is I don’t know how long it will last as it is not super sticky but time will tell and hopefully it lasts.
