I have five cats and five feeders. I use them to make it easier for myself and so I can program them to feed my cats before my dog wakes up in the morning and after he goes to sleep at night. Otherwise, my dog eats all their food. I thought the feeders would be good for a weekend trip away, but I don’t trust them for that. Last night I just happened to look at the app and noticed none of the feeders were online. I thought that was strange so I started trying to figure out why and noticed the app was not working at all. I made the mistake of un binding one feeder so I could reconnect it to the app to see if I could get it to go back online and that is how I knew the app was down. I could not get the feeder set back up in the app or any of them to reconnect to the Wifi. The feeders will still feed even though they lose Wi-Fi connection, but you just can’t tell in the app, which would be kind of scary if I weren’t home. I woke up this morning and the app was working again and the feeders were connected again, and I was able to pair the one that I unbinded, but still, if I were away, I would not have known for sure if my cats were being fed. Other than that, the feeders work fine and really help with scheduled feedings.

I’ve been using this automatic cat food dispenser for several months now, and it works great with no issues. I love the easy use of the app to control feeding times. I will turn off one scheduled feeding if needed, or I can tell the feeder through the app to add extra food. It stores a lot of food, and I don’t need to fill it very often with having just one cat. It is a great quality item. The stainless dish can be a little tricky to wiggle out to wash, but it’s not too difficult. My cat goes running to it when she hears my voice come out from the feeder programmed to say “yummies!”

Incoming lengthy review so here's the TLDR/most important stuff to note: - Easy machine set up - 2.5 & 5G with great wifi reach for app access - Dual power source with a lengthy adapter and option for 2 or 3 D batteries (batteries are not included, but not both at the same time are required) - Large food tank that dispenses 2-15mm sized kibble, and a window screen to see how full the tank is - Portions are super accurate (try manually dispensing a few times to make sure your machine is the same) - Desiccant bag for freshness (Slight con: these have to be replaced & bought separately every 2 weeks so it can add up. 1 is included in your order.) - EASY app interface, with easy set up - Scheduled feedings, with customization for a certain time and portion per scheduled feeding - 1/12 fraction system, but easy to convert online if you Google it (i.e. 1/4 cup = 3/12 cup) - Alerts for when desiccant bag needs changing and when there's a blockage - Manual feeding option with choice of portion size at the touch of a button - Meal call set up so you can call to your pet with either their standard voice set up OR you can record a voice recording so they hear your voice! So I finally decided to pull the trigger on getting an automatic dry food feeder to better suit my schedule. And I gotta say, if you're looking for one... this is it! Setting up the machine is simple, and the cord for plug in power is a decent length -- and YES, it's also battery operated! (2 or 3 D batteries) It's always nice to have a fail safe, so you can use one or the other based on your preference. The inner mechanism for dispensing the food has not clogged at all for me, and I was feeding my stinky with Instincts Raw which includes slightly larger pieces of Rabbit hide. I was worried it wouldn't dispense, but nope! Everything runs smoothly. (Which is good because those are her favorite pieces) I also tested the portions with the Manual feeding option just to make sure the fractioned portions I wanted were correct, and those were on point as well. The app has to be the real selling point for me here. It's so simple to set up -- no crazy mumbo jumbo to go through just to get a schedule set. If you look at my screenshots, you'll see how clean the interface is. I was able to set up the exact time I wanted a feeding, and you can schedule multiple feedings a day. With those scheduled feedings, they go by a 12th fraction system. That can be a little confusing at first if you're not familiar with fraction conversions, and you're trying to be precise with your little one's calorie intake, which is what I'm doing. But a simple google search of "1/4 cup to 1/12 fraction" will pull up a handy calculator so you can get the right portions! You can also set different portions for the different scheduled times as well. You can get super personal with it -- INCLUDING adding meal time calls. I added a voice recording calling her name since she's so used to a human getting her attention by pouring her food. Even with me sitting next to her, her ears perk up and she RUNS if she hears the machine calling her name lol... I absolutely love the alerts this app sends to your phone as well. It notifies you if the food bowl happens to be too full to fully dispense the portion listed for the schedule. Once it's cleared (by a human, or your creature happens to start scarfing it down) it'll also notify you of that! Also, there's alerts for the desiccant bags when they need changing after 2 weeks. These keep the food fresh inside the tanks and helps control moisture, so it's necessary. I'd have to say that's my ONLY con. $15.99 for a 4 pack, and I don't believe there's an option for a larger pack, so really you'd be buying these every 2 months -- which, to some, is not even that bad. But I'm horrible with remembering stuff, so I'd say just subscribe to get them shipped to you automatically. SO in conclusion -- yeah. This was the best purchase I've made so far this year on Amazon. I have nothing but great things to say about this product, and I really hope you pull the trigger on it, too!

Bought used - pretty good. (not brand new) It works pretty well, pairing to wifi was the hard part, per the app instructions it states to keep it within 20 inches from phone, router, and feeder. i had all of them pretty much touching so it would pair easily and could not get it to pair/would pair and fall out after 2 minutes. kept failing, so after days of trying to pair, i plugged it up across the house and it paired instantly. so not sure the issue there. but it works great. inside was absolutely disgusting, maybe i didn’t read where buying used doesn’t get cleaned but there was hair, dried food, and some kind of film all over the feeder. It’s a good size and is not too loud at all, once paired it stays paired and the app functions work great.

Ordered this bundle because we are working on our dogs diet and we want to make sure she is drinking enough water. For what the description explains, we felt like this was a good product to try for the cost. We are home most of the time, so we didn’t feel like we needed a camera to see her eat. It doesn’t take up much space. It sits in the corner of our dining room. The instructions were very clear and it was very easy to set up. We like that the design of the water fountain allows you to remove it from the base and fill the water. You should be aware that the water fountain requires filters that you have to replace. They are not that expensive and the app will remind you when they should be changed. The construction of both the fountain and the feeder are good. We don’t plan to travel with the water fountain or the feeder, but they just plug in so if you were going on a car trip, I guess it wouldn’t be bad because the feeder can also run on batteries and the food storage screws in so you could also carry food there. If you want to actually keep track of everything, there is a 5.99 a month subscription for one dog. This is a great product, but it’s not a set it and forget it like a regular dog bowl. You have to be okay with cleaning it out every few weeks (the fountain comes with a small brush to clean the pump) overall, very happy with it and the dog seems to really like it thus far!

Edit: Increase rating base on Petlibro wonderful consumer service. Brought up the issue to the original company and after reviewing the video to prove it was the base that was the issue, Petlibro sent me a replacement base. I just got it and it is working so far. Crossing fingers it last more than 2 years. Original: After 6 month of use (and it wasn’t set to go off everyday either), the motor is dead. I keep getting an error message on the app saying the motor is stuck and to clean out the feeder but that’s not the issue. I’ve tried cleaning the machine out and it’s not a food blockage. The motor just won’t turn anymore. I've tried gently turning the motor manually and it won’t budge. There’s no way to open the machine to look under the motor to see if there’s an issue too. Very disappointing. The feeder isn’t cheap either

I had initially thought that this was 6 packs of 4 each. But it's just 6 items in the pack for almost £20. I doubt that this costs more than 20p to manufacture. And they want you to replace them every 2 weeks!

Good feeder for our 2 cats. Nice outlook and is easy to use. Spent a few minutes doing the settings and connecting the network via the App. Everything is under my control, able to feed my cats by schedule or manually. when I was on holiday or working, I can check the bowl of the feeder all the time through my home camera so that I can amend the quantity of food for my cats instantly if in case. I'm not worried about being out of food. Peace of mind.

I have been using this feeder for over a year without any issue. It is reliable and makes life easier when I have to go out. It it is easy to setup, compliant with 5 ghz wifi. I wish it would notify me when food is low (notifies only when running out of food), but other than that, I am definitely happy with my purchase!
