I like knowing we can stop for lunch somewhere
Do you absolutely need this? Probably not. But I still prefer to have it over not having anything at all. My husband and I take our daughter on bike rides all the time. I like knowing we can stop for lunch somewhere, lock the bikes on a bike rack, and the trailer would also be locked on our bikes.If someone really wanted to steal the trailer, you can easily cut off the rubber that hold the pin in place (the lock will not prevent this)...but that's not the lock's fault...its the way the mechanism is designed that hooks the trailer to the bike. The lock does exactly what its supposed to do -- deter someone from easily removing the trailer that's connected to a bike. I would use this if we are parking our bikes (with trailers) for short periods of time (ex: going to the store, at the park, etc.). I wouldn't expect this leave the trailer locked up full time in a public place.Connecting the trailer to the bike with the lock on took some getting used to, it was difficult to put on and take off at first. But after a while you get used to it.I do love that Thule offers the option to change the cylinders on all their locks so you can use the same key for everything..

Lock Kit Thule
Haben uns den Lock Kit für unseren Cab gekauft. Von der Handhabung , verarbeitungs Qualität ist alles in Ordnung. Aber trotzdem vier Sterne abzug, da es nicht bei jedem Fahrrad passt. Sollte in der Beschreibung eigentlich stehen für den Preis! !! Muss mir jetzt extra neue stütze dazu kaufen! !!

Zufrieden
Bin zufrieden mit diesem Produkt. Der Anhänger ist gut mit dem Fahrrad verankert, so muss nur noch das Fahrrad irgendwo angekettet werden. Montage war einfach.
