i like little debbie or hostess fruit pies but due to shortages, there are none at my markets. searched amazon and found jj's pies. purchased a dozen banana creme and a dozen vanilla chocolate pies. to call this food, or a snack, or anything edible is an insult to snack food. these pies are disgusting. theyre flavorless lumps of an amalgamous mass of starch and artificial pseudo-creme. the consistency is revolting, and they feel under-cooked. the creme has zero flavor and has the consistency of tooth paste. well, there is some flavor, so if you enjoy the revolting aftertaste of chemically infused starch, then youll enjoy this assault on your taste buds. its my fault that i did not read the reviews and wasted time and money ordering. hope you read my review so you dont make the same mistake. i wouldnt even give the ones i have left to my dog. think i am gonna mail them to my ex-wife.

The outside crust was pretty and the filling was very sweet and only tasted a little like banana. Definitely won’t be ordering these again. My husband( who eats anything) even said he didn’t care for these

I could easily eat 10 of these pies per day! Screw Hostess and their ridiculous selection of 2 flavors, Cherry and the ULTRA boring Apple Pie BS. JJ's Pies are beyond great. Banana Cream Pies are a gift from the Almighty! I plan on buying more of these along with several other of the great flavors they have out there. Major props to this company for not putting out those same two boring ass flavors as Hostess, granted Cherry pies are awesome. Apple Pies? Give me a break.... ATT... McDonald's who once had absolutely delicious cherry pies but decided to ditch them and only serve BORRRRRRING Apple Pies. With JJ's, you can get whatever flavor tickles your fancy. Mine are Banana, Peach, Cherry, Blueberry and Boston Cream. And several others. Thank you to JJ's for actually having a legit selection! But Banana Cream is orgasmic!

Ordered an pack of 6- since I usually love banana cream pie and I’ve had JJs pies from my local grocery and Dollar General. The apple, cherry, and chocolate pies were great. And cheaper than Hostess. However, these things are WAY subpar. For starters, they were shipped in a plastic bag, so all of them were crushed or damaged or opened. That’s on Amazon. They’re usually better than that. And eating a pie? Sure it’s edible but tastes “pasty” and hardly any “banana” flavor. I read many reviews saying stay away but decided to try em. Those negative reviews were correct. I expect better from Amazon and the JJs pie company. Just go get a pie crust and a box of banana flavor Jello instant pudding mix and make your own. You could even line the pie crust with real banana slices- like my mom did.

We have had these pies before and they were always flaky and delicious. Not this time! Don't know if the seller wasn't storing them correctly or they were just sitting around too long. The boxes were limp and the pastry was extremely soggy. We are tossing them in the garbage.

I liked these more than I'd expected to. The crust is very like the Hostess pies I had when I was a kid, dense and chewy. The banana filling is clearly banana without overpowering you. The price was high, but not unacceptable. I will order again.
