Works perfect for what I Needed it for.
EDIT MAY 10TH 2025: nearly 13 years later and I still have and used this for travel lol. It's held up pretty well over the years. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I needed these in a pinch for travel i was going on and chose it based on its size, reviews, and available colors. I liked that i could get a different color than a standard plain black, and the green suited me just fine, and also if a friend ever needed to borrow it it would be gender neutral as opposed to a pink one (which i would have loved lol). Though true to other reviews the green color is NOT as bright and pretty as it appears on the photo, it is a little more muted, but a little more woodsy than olive id say. I have a ton of pics i took from various angles of all its features and even with it stuff full but i don't see where i can post them on this particular items page. :( I have no complaints over the durability of the suitcase (i don't use the mini one) kinda stupid, don't know if anyone ever uses them, not big enough for my laptop. So the suitcase will be the main point of my review. The item held up just fine and had no problems with it as a carry on. I flew through American Airlines for all flights and never once had any question of its size/weight issue and didn't have to check it. It rolled smoothly through the airport. the wheels worked well and had no issues with the handle. extended/retracted simple and quickly with a push of the button on top. there was an occasional tip or flip, but i attribute that to my handling of the bag as its a narrower than a larger one so it was easy to accidentally twist when pulling it up next to you, But that was mainly just how i was handling it. It can actually fit a pretty good amount of stuff in it. I had 2 pairs of jeans, house sweats, yoga style sweats, 8 shirts, 10 underwear and a couple bras, 4 pairs of socks, and a pair of low profile sneakers, pair of flats, and heels. Oh and an extra hoodie on top of all of that. Also had my makeup bag stashed in it too. All that WITHOUT the use of the 3" extender that unzips if you need it. I didn't want to risk having to check it. However on one of my flights, to/from an airforce base in a tiny plane, they had no room for carry ons so they had to be checked (no fee i might add) and it help up fine against their rough handling. Made it through the airports 6 times and came home in just as good condition as we left. Fortunately no scuffs or marks from being handled by agents or thrown on the belt or plane, and held a ton of stuff! all the intimates and socks and things were stowed in the zip mesh pocket on the inside, packed shoes in the bottom, then pants, then tops, then hoodie, I am very please with the durability and quality of this piece for a pretty decent price. It did what i needed it to do and did its job well. i really have no complaints about it at all and can't wait to go on another trip with it.

Very nice light-weight carry-on luggage!
I was looking for a light-weight carry-on suitcase for airplane travel. Based on the low price, I was skeptical that this bag would be any good at all, but I decided to give it try, knowing I could always return it if I didn't like it. Much to my surprise and delight, it was 3 pounds lighter than the one I'd been using - a huge plus! It handled very well in the airport and on the plane. All of the zippers worked well - and the inside was roomy. I especially liked that the inside metal pieces that were part of the handle were flat and spaced far enough apart that I could use the space between them efficiently. My only disappointment was in the Tote Bag. It was too small to replace my older backpack - and the handles were made of a cheap cardboard-type material - the kind of thing that bends and breaks down quickly, so I didn't even try to use it. Nevertheless, I am happy with this purchase. I also thought the large assortment of colors was a plus for families who need to able to identify bags easily.

A real carry-on, great for occasional traveler
I have owned this carry-on set for about 6 months now, and got to use it for a few trips (3 weekend getaways, and 2 five day trips). Since I do not travel a lot, I did not want to pay too much for a luggage set. This one fits the bill perfectly. Here are the good points I see: * the price is right. I will not be mad if one day I have to check the luggage in, and the airline looses them. * it is a real carry-on for ANY airline: sure, some airlines will accept over-sized carry-on. But the day the plane is really full, they start being picky and asking people to check the carry-on in. With this set, you would be very unlucky if it was to happen to you. Also, rolling it down the aisle is easy as the bigger piece is narrow. * color is nice. I got the green one for me, and my wife chose the orange (that is more yellow in my opinion). Both are really a nice change from the regular black/brown you usually get, but it might stain more easily of you were to check it in, which hopefully will not happen. * quality: I was expecting less for the price. If you avoid checking it in, it should last a while. Fabric and zippers feel durable. The handle might be the weakest part, as it does not feel that strong, but so far, so good. * the small piece fits on top of the bigger one, and has a strap to be attached to the handle. In this configuration, getting out of the plane, switching plane and walking in the airport is very convenient, as you only need one hand for both pieces. * The small piece is the perfect size to fit a tablet or a kindle, as well as whatever you would need close to you during the flight or for your trip. I am able to fit: full size headphones, one tablet, one travel guide, a collapsible umbrella. * For me, this set size is enough for a few days trip. But it might be too small for others. This is hard to comment on this. A few minor points that explain the 4 star rating: * when I received the set, the chemical smell was quite strong. The smell went away fairly quickly by leaving the pieces open for a few days in a well ventilated room. But it would have been great if the manufacturer took care of removing the smell for me. * When you expand the bigger piece, and fill it completely, it will loose it's balance and not be able to stand vertically by itself. This is not too much of an issue as I did use only this feature once. To try to make it better on the way back, I tried to put the heavier items first, and toward the bottom. Balance was better, but I could tell it was still close from falling if I was to let it stand there.

this is really a great suitcase and works with international travel standards for 2026. I wanted a fancier suitcase but this was really well made and so unassuming. Great value and rolls like a dream.

11 countries, 27 flights, takes a licking, keeps on ticking
I recently completed an 11-country, 11-week around-the-world trip, including 27 flights, with this carry-on luggage, and they came through it with flying colors. The bags took a licking and kept on ticking through it all. Take a look at the photos to see how they look at the end of this expedition. Not quite new, but not all that far off considering what they'd been through. I was able to carry everything I needed, and a few things it turned out I didn't need, in these bags. I had no checked bags for the entire trip, just these two guys. The expansion capability of the main carry-on came in handy at times, though the way airline requirements vary so widely from airline to airline it's a guessing game what a given ground crew might object to. Only on four or five of those 27 flights did an airline insist on checking the bigger bag, and only one time was I assessed an overweight charge (and for this reason I don't recommend flying on Air Asia -- hear that, Air Asia?) I have two criticisms to make. One serious, one less so. The less serious criticism is of the flight bag. This version of the flight bag is smaller than the older version. Not sure if this is just to save money or to meet some airline requirement. It would have been nice to have a bit bigger flight bag. The more serious criticism pertains to the main carry-on. It lacks a foot to keep it from falling over when it has any weight in the front compartment. I packed my laptop in the inside front pocket, and as a result that weight caused the bag to tip over if I didn't prop it against something. Look at the third photo and you'll see what I mean. This was a continual annoyance, and especially so when someone, like a taxi driver, would grab the bag from my hands and I'd have to rush to tell them it didn't stand up on it's own before they'd let it go and allow the bag to fall over, risking damage to my laptop. The manufacturer really needs to add a foot to the front of the bag to avoid this problem. It's an easy but important fix. This is really my only gripe about this set, both in terms of its capacity, durability, and functionality. Even all the zippers held up, despite being opened and closed probably hundreds of times. In summation, excellent value for the money.

About what I expected
The zippers were fine, the quality was meh, the rollability was okay. It looks just as it does in the picture, and it was very lightweight, not too heavy at all. Even when full I could lift the bag over my head. It came with a lock of it's own with two keys, but the lock was very fragile and snapped off easily. Also, after just one trip, the bag looks incredibly worn, like I had used it for a long time when I had only used it for the one trip. If you're looking for something cheap, it's fine. I didn't have high expectations, so I'm not super affected by the low quality.

Great for 3-5 day travel.
I Bought this for a 7 day cruise, and I was expecting it to be a bit bigger. I was able to make it work, but it is much better suited for shorter trips. Its lightweight and easy to maneuver. I really liked that it could expand by a few extra inches, and that there is a large zip up compartment on the inside that was a great space for shoes. The toiletry bag held several full size products, makeup, hairbrush, jewelty, medications, and a hair dryer with space to spare. Great set for a great price, and lots of great color options!

Good Bag - Perfect Fit for Airline Carryon Size Requirements
Purchased this for a few trips I was taking. I hadn't flown in a while and my old carry-on luggage was just a little too large for the current size requirements. I purchased the teal luggage. Pros: I was very happy with the color. The size was perfect (fit in the size guide at the airport with no room to spare, so it's as large as it can be without needing to be checked, maximizing my available space). The zippers work well, the inside clips are good and I like that it came with a small bag to keep some of my items separated from others in my luggage. One of my favorite features is the extra handle on the bottom next to the wheels. That makes it so easy to pick up. My old luggage only had one handle on the top. This has the top handle, a side handle and the bonus handle on the bottom. Great design! Cons: Because this has only two wheels instead of four, it tended to tip over. I had nothing breakable in my luggage, so this wasn't a big issue, but I didn't see anyone with a 4-wheeled carry-on having this issue. Of course, there's a trade-off because with 4 wheels taking up some of your measurable width/depth, you lose packing space, so this is only a semi-problem. Another issue I had was that on both instances of my flight, the airline ran out of room and my carryon had to be checked. After just two flights, I have noticed that the piping is already torn at the corners (see picture). This so far seems to be only cosmetic and not structural, so I plan to continue to use the bag. Some of this may be the construction, but it also may be the way the airlines handle the bag, but I think that luggage should be manufactured with the idea that the airlines are trying to move fast and aren't slowly and carefully moving each piece of luggage. Overall I'm fairly happy with this purchase and did buy a second bag for my husband to use on his trip. He had the same pros/cons that I did so I feel the performance of the luggage is consistent.
