A very small plane that isn't a Cessna
I bought this for no other reason than I thought that it might be "cute" as a novelty tool. This delivers cute in spades... teeny tiny ickle spades that possibly belong to roadworks pixies or gravedigger elves. I'm a Luthier.... are you back from looking that up now?? Good. So I may even get a few opportunities to use this but even if I don't it's just a nice little thing to own. It's quite nicely made for something mass produced although not of craftsman quality construction (did I just presume??? Never mind...). Blade feels nice and sharp, it's well finished overall. I'd recommend this as a gift to someone who likes woodwork or if you need to do some carpentry for your local Hobbit family to make sure they feel welcome and included after that unfortunate incident with the Orcs from the estate behind Aldi.

Great item.
Great little plane. Alas my husband under estimated his job and found out he needed something a little larger. It will come in very handy though for small tricky jobs. He was full of praise for it after he tried it out. Glad we bought it anyway.

Good for small craft work
It is small, and no substitute for a carpenter's plane. That said, it is great for model making where smaller wood items can be dressed off. I made a wood fixture that holds the plane blade uppermost so that components can be run across it. A useful addition to the tool kit

More of a gimic than of any real use.
An ok product but not really that useful. I needed something small to make minor adjustments but this is more trouble than worthwhile. I should have just purchased a traditional plane rather than this.

Its fit in your hand. Looks bigger in the picture.

Tiny
Yes it is that small! It does work but my problem is with the blade and the tightening screw. No matter how hard I tightened it with my fingers, as soon as there’s a bit of pressure pushed down on it from an angle the blade gets pushed up into the casing and your planning nothing!! It does work but the amount of times I’ve had to stop/start readjusting the blade makes it pretty annoying. The size wouldn’t have bothered me if it worked and had a secure adjustment for the blade, but as it is not worth the current price.

Trimming plastic
I only use it for trimming mil of plastic off of stuff and worked fine, blade was sharp and trimmed what I needed it to. Even tried it on oak fire Place and worked, so for fine stuff worked well but don't know about bigger
