Evenflo Versatile Play Space Adjustable Play Area, 6-Panel (Cool Gray)

We've had this for a few weeks and LOVE it. Wish we had bought it sooner! It's a little pricey, but not compared to other collapsible play pens considering the quality of this one. The 8 panel one is huge, and we love that you can use it as sort of a baby gate if needed. We never use it as a playpen because we didn't buy it until our little one was 12 months old and she'd throw a fit the whole time being confined to a playpen. However, it works amazingly to block her from areas we don't want her. We split it into 3 sections and used it to protect our Christmas tree, stereo, and dog bowls from the baby all at once. It's saved us so much trouble! There's no gate on it but it doesn't need one because every panel can turn into a gate. The joints are very easy for an adult to open the playpen up at any panel. You can position it pretty much however you want, but the panels do have "positions" they snap into so it'll try to stick to only certain positions. There are a lot of positions though, so it's not like it's only every 45 degrees or something. It's super easy to use and seems to be designed and made very well. The joints are large and robust, and I'm not at all concerned about anything breaking. It does get wobbly the more you stretch it out, but we always had it positioned in a way where it'd be difficult for the baby to knock it over. It folds down reasonably small for what it is. Obviously plastic panels can only fold so small, but it will be able to tuck into a closet corner when we no longer use it often. We're very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.

First off let me say that Evenflo hit a huge home run with this play space (or as my 10 year old son calls it, "baby jail). The single biggest feature that my wife and I love is that each part of the webbing is a rounded edge and not a sharp plastic edge. We have no worry about our daughter hurting her hands or feet on this fencing due to the awesome rounded edges of the plastic. In the classic octagon shape it is 5ft across by 4ft 10" across from the two opposite corners and the two opposite straight edges of the octagon. This gives a large enough space for your baby to crawl and maneuver around and explore the area safely. Each panel of the play space is held together with a simple and effective push button hinge design. The fencing can be easily taken apart by an adult and reconfigured in a matter of seconds yet is completely secure enough where a baby or toddler would be unable to separate the fencing. The webbing on each panel is small enough where a baby/toddler in the standing stage would be unable to effectively place their foot into the opening and climb. My daughter is nearly 9 months and is able to pull herself up and is starting to explore things with her feet while she is holding herself up. Her hands are completely unharmed due to the awesome rounded edges on the webbing. The angled design of the webbing also prevents little feet from being able to climb up the panel. The play space easily folds up for storage. Think of an accordion style where each fence panel folds over onto the other. You simply detach one corner from the adjoining panel by pushing the white button on top of the joint and the fence folds up easily. Can’t rant about this gate enough. Been using it for years now, through all 3 of my kids. Disconnects/connects SO easily. We travel with it everywhere! Camping, friends houses, outside, inside. It all folds right down and is super convenient to travel with . You can use all the pieces or just a few at a time. I’ve used 1 or 2 pieces at a time as a gate across stairs even. It’s so sturdy, not cheap at all. Perfect size. Would recommend, WORTH THE MONEY. You won’t be disappointed.

The gates are tall and well made but very flimsy and don’t stand well. I put the end of the gate against the couch to block my baby but (she’s 10 months) was able to fling it open with barely any force. They really should have added sand or heavy weights on the bottom of the gate to make it harder to push or move around. Other than that, I’m well pleased with how much you get for the price

Makes for a great extension to your play area. They fold up easy so you can put them away

Great design…. Mostly. The way the panels connect is ingenious. The only issue - the gate is too light. My 1 year old was able to push on it and walk all over the house. He even managed to tip it over. Too bad, because the design is like 99% awesome. If you buy this and your kid can walk, it will constantly look like it does in the photo.

We use it with an open concept (not completely closing the gate, and it really does the trick to blocking the areas needed where we dont want our son to go! :)

Good sturdy product. We have just used it to block our child from accessing power inverter. Worked good. Also this made in Canada and not like colorful set from same firm which is made in China.

Wish it was a little more sturdy but otherwise it is definitely a good purchase
