I got this because I wanted to connect my Nintendo Switch to my OBS on my iMac without needing a second monitor. It works great and I am able to stream my game on Twitch no problem. It was compatible with my switch and Mac, and the only thing I noticed was a very slight delay when I used the left trigger on my controller. The resolution looks fine and it was very easy to use. It came in a small box and was not damaged. It’s exactly what I expected for the price! If you’re not looking to buy a really expensive capture card for your gaming, then I think this is a great option for starting out.

TLDR: Recommended, but there is just enough delay that if you are using this as a webcam, you'll need to have the audio delayed to match (I used 130ms to get them to sync). This mini capture card works great, had no issues setting it up, worked out of the box. Connected it to a beginner's mirrorless (Canon EOS R100) and it is an excellent quality webcam...if you're using OBS. I am giving 4 stars because there's enough of an audio delay that I wouldn't recommend using it as a webcam in a program where you can't set an audio delay to match. I use a 130ms audio delay in OBS Studio to get the sound to match the video, and I think that is a big enough delay to be extremely offputting if not fixed. If you are using this as a capture card for only streaming/recording a game console, then the delay might not matter. If you're trying to use it as a passthrough, the delay probably matters. However, a full 4 stars for everything else! I do recommend this, with the above caveat.

I almost left a negative review, saying the capture card was terrible quality, until I noticed on QuickTime player (mac) that there is a dropdown where I can select "Maximum Quality" haha! This is a GREAT way to play your switch on a laptop (I want to sit at my desk and play not on the couch with the TV) and even better for streaming!! Unfortunately for streaming on Twitch (SariaSage_) I have to put it on lower quality but you don't really notice because most people watch on their phone and its a small screen anyway. If i put it at max quality 1080p then its a bit laggy lol. Prefer lower quality but smoother gameplay. Anyways its perfect for gaming on your own and like a 3.5/5 for streaming!! I included a PHOTO of my stream so you could see what the stream looks like with it since I know a lot of people use capture cards for this reason!

Easy to connect an Amazon Firestick to my 2024 iMac . I used OBSstudio software, in Mac, it's known as "Console Capture" to display the streaming video from the Firestick inserted in Guernok video capture card. You need the Firestick remote control to navigate and play movies and videos. No hardware drivers were needed. Working great!

Works perfectly my first time using a Capture card and was not sure what to expect but it was easy set up and so far great

Works 90% of the time, sometimes needs the computer to restart to work. I use it to stream with a DSLR camera but this will NOT work as a webcam input for the Nintendo Switch 2, just a heads up. Latency is fine.
