Good pair of trousers, but colour does not match Amazons image
This is a good pair of trousers that seem like they will not wear easily, however, beware, the color of the delivered product is much darker than that of the picture. These are indeed black trousers, not the greyish stone washed colour of the image.

This is a newer version of the cargo, NOT the same as they used to be...
I've been wearing these cargos for the past few years and have purchased additional pairs of them over that time frame. I recently ordered some from Amazon and found that UnionBay has completely changed the design.1. Material is thinner than before - not really an issue, actually nice2. Pockets are not as deep - negative for me3. Cut is completely different - big negative for me- Skinny legs, compared to the nice baggy legs of the originals (I feel like I'm wearing skinny jeans with the new version)- Length is more true but I like the longer cut on the 32's. It was artificially long but I like itI have purchased these at Kohls before. To investigate, since Kohls site still has photos of the original version, I went there today. The design has definitely changed. On the rack I found mostly the new versions with some of the older version sprinkled throughout.Sadly, I will have to look for a different cargo from a different company as the new cut is not for me.

I don't know why people are complaining about the new version of this pants. I got one and its not skinny fit at all. It is actually a nice relaxed fit and the cargo pockets have plenty of room to spare. My only complaint is that the fabric is somewhat thin. Don't know how these pants will hold up over time.

dumb belt, too much velcro, bad sewing job
The pants come with the belt in the picture....why? I don't know. It's rather ugly, in my opinion, and I will be throwing it away; a sad waste.the knee pockets and back pockets are Velcro, very obnoxious, in my opinion; sadly, all the cargo pants I've found lately have the Velcro; just something that I have to remove. It also has company label on one of the knee pockets, something else I will be removing. Some of the seems had extra thread that needed to be cut off. But much like the Velcro, it seems that most of the cargo pants that I've bought lately, from several brands, all have equally messy seem work. The manufacturers are really being lazy on these.

Good Pants
These pants are well made and comfortable. I needed extra pockets, comfort fit, light but solid fabric and that's what I got. They run a little larger in the waist than advertised. Length is ok. They come with a belt and that's a nice extra.I suggest these pants to everybody.

sad ending to my favorite pants
Against wookiefoots review I purchased new pairs of these pants and he was exactly correct. The cut and fit is different. I managed to tear a small hole above the left cargo pocket without much use. My big thighs don't like the new cut at all. I have actually LOST weight and it was still tighter than my previous ones.I was also have to look for a different cargo from a different company as these will be the last union bay cargos that I will purchase.

Very comfortable cargo pants for every day wear
Very comfortable cargo pants for every day wear. Not extremely high durability but again these are every day pants. Half a season of foresting ruined these pants, but they served me well before I needed a new pair. If you are looking for long-term, heavy duty cargo pants then this is not what you want.

Thin material, comfortable but won't last.
Ok while they lasted, which was only a few months. Thinner material tore out near the zipper and eventually the seat. For the money I'd like to have seen them last at least a year.
