WOrks as promised. Easy to use. Would buy again and probably will for next laptop monitor to monitor repurposing.

My panel is B156XTN02.2, and this listing does not specifically state that it works with this version, only the B156XTN02.1. I am happy to report that it works beautifully with my panel. Not only does it work, it comes with a nice perk that I did not expect.. it accepts higher resolutions than the panel natively supports and scales them beautifully. My panel is 1366x768, but I am able to run it at 1920x1080! Yes, there is a little softening of the details on the display, which is to be expected, but for my needs (instant messaging app for work), it is much preferred to have the extra resolution as opposed to the sharpness!

I bought this to test my replacement LCDs for my E6230 machines. Worked perfectly so far. It's a bit fragile -- I wish I had a proper acrylic case for it. But other than that, no complaints.

i purchased the control board to build a portable monitor. so i could connect my phone for gaming a little easier. unfortunatelly it appeared not to function. although with further research i found many boards required whats called an inverter. after having contacting amazon and they confirmed it needs one they agrred to send me a list of compatible inverters. although after months of trying to get this list . was advised to contact the seller. the seller informed me an inverter was not necessary. a few messages between the seller and some tinkering with the board i had determined it was a faulty Ipex 40 pin connection cable. to which i thought the seller was agreeing to send me a new cable. however, when the package arrived it was not a cable. it was two completely new boards with cables. so i would highlty recommend this seller. BTW, the seller to my knowlwdge did not ask for a review . and to my knowlwdge doesn't know they have arrived as yet. for which i will attempt to contact them with a copy of my review when finished to let them know i am extremely grateful !

Purchased on a hunch - I have the B116XW03 V.1, which isn't listed as compatible but is virtually the same panel as B116XW03 V.0, V.0 is the glossy version, where V.1 is the matte panel. Hooked this up with a 12V 2A power supply and I used it all day yesterday without any issues. So if you have a B116XW03 V.1 panel and are looking for a compatible board, but don't want to wait for shipping from China, this is it chief.

The main issue with this board is that the resolution is set to 1366 x 768. This is not the 1920 x 1080 that most TV's and monitors can display. So if you are trying to set this up on a computer just realize that it will be strange. An additional issue is that the board is not labeled for the correct alignment of the 40 pin connector cable there is a dot on the connector but not on the board itself, if the connector is turned the wrong way on the board the LCD panel will just light up with a white screen and will not display an image. Flip the connector (in my case all the wires were on the left side next to the white connector) this will allow the image to display properly. Hope this helps others out there, im going to continue looking for an adapter with a normal display resolution! Cheers!!!

The description indicates it should use 12V with above 2A power source. It does power the screen using 5V USB A to barrel jack adapter. Dissembled a broken laptop from 2012 and with scraps around house (lots of tape and glue) secured the screen as a secondary monitor. If this continues to function, a more permanent solution will be devised. Right now, quite happy with this control board. Quality of the control board is good. No complaints.

Great product. Exactly what I needed. Value for the money. Easy to install and mount. I converted an old laptop screen to a secondary monitor using this product and it was very well.
