I have 2 weeks to wait for actual taste test but currently I'm looking at an amber ale,not an ipa. There was no sugar nor bottle caps in the kit. That being said,so far it has an interesting taste and I will post again after taste test. Also I only got 41 bottles out of this batch.

I have been home brewing since the early 1990s and have tried numerous recipes and different brews. This one is the one I like best. Personal taste. . Kit easy to use and consistent results.

This is an amber ale, not an IPA. It’s good. Don’t get me wrong. But it is not to style. It’s an amber alert hopped like an IPA. Again, I will drink it, and I will like it, but it’s not an IPA. Hence the three stars. You have to mark your products appropriately.

Good kit to purchase if you like Pale Ales

I ordered this for my grandfather for Christmas. He loved how easy it was. It was his first time brewing so it was perfect for beginners. He loved the flavor. And the ingredients appeared to be high quality.

I've used these products from Brewers Best and have had no problems. This go around I was brewing a couple different batches and when It came time to start this one, I noticed that I was shortchanged a 1 oz packaged of Chinook Hops. The kit should have had 2 1oz packages, or 1 2oz package. It came with 1 1oz. I didn't have any Chinook in my personal stash, so I ended up using additional Cascade hops which I had on hand. This will undoubtedly change the flavor and overall balance. Make sure you check the box early enough you can either return the product for a complete kit, or at a minimum, obtain what is missing locally before you begin to brew.

The kits are the best I’ve tried! Easy to follow instructions and good results. Hard to keep ahead of the demand for the finished product!
