This is an amazing kitchen tool...
I've never used one of these before and I always have trouble trying to pan fry things without scorching the oil before I'm finished. I made fried green tomatoes the other night and kept the oil around 370-380 degrees. The coating ended up being golden brown and the oil actually could have been saved and reused when I was finished. I liked this so much I'm going to order some for Chrismas presents for family members who like to cook as much as I do.

Nice and accurate. Good for pro use as well.
Last one lived 12 years professional use in shops. It was worn out so I got this one to replace it. It's a newer model and nicer too.

The accuracy is very poor. Especially when used in cold temperatures.
