Moves a lot of air, but did not reduce A/C cooling costs
This installed fairly easily (easy attic access here) and it really moves a lot of air. I like the bluetooth connection that shows the temp and humidity, although it only seems to update about every 10 min. No issues with connectivity distance, it connects from anywhere in my house. And the low/med fan settings are mostly unnoticeable noise-wise, while on high you can hear the hum from the rooms on that side of the house. I learned the hard way this needs to be installed on the downwind side of the house from the prevailing wind, otherwise it's working against the natural flow. Also from weeks of testing and measuring I can say with proper attic insulation the attic temp has very little to do with the temp inside inside the house. My attic is consistently 20-30 degrees hotter than outside temps, and I installed this fan to lower the temp up there while I was installing new attic insulation. It definitely helped, lowering the temp about 10 degrees if it ran all day, but the real fix for lowering the temp inside came from adding R-38 insulation and sealing all the air leaks that were blowing cold A/C air into the attic. This fan was a life saver for the days I was working up there but after installing insulation there is no difference in the inside temp of my house running it vs. not. After more testing I'll likely purchase their whole house fan to cool the house off quickly when the sun goes down.

Easy Install and Quiet Operation
I plugged the fan in, and connected it to my phone via blue tooth. It was easy to do and allowed the fan to be tested. . The kit came with the fasteners needed to mount the fan and the baffles. I built a small frame and took everything into the attic. It took about 35 minutes to install and it was up and running! The three speeds set at temperature and humidity levels allow total control. Manual override is also possible. The fan is fairly quiet considering the amount of air it moves, and the three speeds helps with noise as well. It drops the attic temperature about 40 degrees and the air conditioner runs much less and the house is more comfortable than before the fan was installed. Overall this was a very pleasant and productive experience.

Simply Amazing!!!
We live in northern UT where summers can routinely get into the 90's during the day and cool off into the high 50s overnight. This fan has allowed us to open up the house at sundown and then close the windows around 8 or 9am the following morning. It is mid-July and we have not run the AC once this year even with outside temps as high as 95. The inside temp of the house has only gotten up to 79 degrees once. Most days it tops out at 76-78 degrees in the late afternoon. This fan really does a great job in keeping the attic significantly cooler. The fan is a little louder than I would expect but I love the fact that it is variable speed and only kicks up to high speed (i.e. more noise) during the late afternoon, as soon as its starts cooling off in the evening, the fan slows down and becomes much quieter. You do need to ensure you have enough airflow, and in our case we ended up increasing the size of our gable vent to allow for better airflow from the fan to outdoors. We also ensure we had a pretty tight enclosure for the fan to mount to so that the fan could work at peak efficiency. That said, installation was basic and straight forward. I anticipate that this fan will pay for itself from energy savings in less than 2 years by not needing to run the AC nearly as often.

Great Unit, Except . .
I easily installed this fan by myself in a very low clearance attic. It works. It's quiet. The app is easy to use. The one problem is that there is no WiFi connection so you can only "see" it or adjust it from very close by in your house, maybe 30 feet. I'm currently working on setting up a bridge so I can convert the bluetooth signal to wifi and access the control and monitor or control it from anywhere. Quiet Cool is very easy to deal with but doesn't want to release much information on their bluetooth protocol or recommend any such connection or bridge so I'm on my own here. There's no reason for Quiet Cool to stick with bluetooth. Wifi is cheap and far more useful. It's 2024. There's no reason for this limitation! It's cheap enough!

Powerful fan, designed for easy, proper installation
I'm very pleased with this fan. It is definitely the expensive model for the category but I already think the value is there. The fan moves a lot of air. While it didn't state the "square footage" on product listing, on the box it says 4000 sq. ft. For me, it's in the attic of a 1930s vintage 1900 sq. ft. house, so it should be able to turn the air over rapidly and without effort - the 3-speed design of this one is especially appealing to me. We live in the deep south on the humid Gulf Coast. The best investment I've made in keeping the house comfortable in the summer was a light-colored metal roof. Even still, the attic isn't a place to be during July or August, so this will keep air moving. Installation was surprisingly simple. It helps that my vents were proper 16" with double 2x4 frames, which matched the fan design perfectly. The little black borders zipped right in, too. The control panel came properly pre-wired with a nice gauge, 20' 3-prong extension cord and I already had an outlet in the attic -- like it was meant to be. The test cycle went perfectly; bluetooth connection was seamless; from underneath the fan in the living room, I could still easily communicate with it. I've set the summer mode and should be ready to roll once the next warm front comes in. With it all said and done, I'm glad to have sprung for this model; hoping I never have to think about it for the next 2 decades....
