Red Miso with Spicy Mushrooms

I don't usually write reviews on Amazon but I was incredibly impressed with the quality and flavor of Tsubi Soups. I heard about the product through a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The broth was incredibly rich/flavorful and all the reconstituted ingredients (mushrooms, vegetables, etc.) looked and tasted fresh. I took Tsubi Soups with me on a few camping trips this summer and they were a hit with our friends. At home, I use them to dress up a meal that could use some help (i.e. boring leftovers) or if I just need a quick meal, I'll just have it with a bowl of rice. Highly recommended!!!

Oh! How I love thee, let me count the ways hahaha I LOVE THIS SOUP! It is very easy to make and quick. I do have to add 18 saltine crackers to the cup of soup it makes because it is not very filling unless I do, but I love the flavor so much, and it makes my crackers taste so yummy. It is a small amount for the money and I do view it as too expensive, but that does not subtract from my love for it, and I have no qualms about spending the money to get it. I have had to force myself to back off a bit because I have purchased other flavors to see which I like best and it does get expensive. I still have quite a bit and will purchase more when I run out.

Prepared as directed with 3/4 c boiling water. I thought it had a fair amount of eggplant. I do not taste the ginger at all. It has a sweet taste that’s not subtle, I don’t like that. I won’t be ordering again because of that sweet flavor as well as the hefty price.

I love the quality of the ingredients. It's healthy, vegan, and less than 50 calories each, but the soup is packed with layers of rich flavors so I'm feeling satisfied. The design of these cubes are smart and compact. It's convenient and easy to pack/make at the office or on trips. When I was very ill and couldn't cook anything, Tsubi soup saved me and cured my bad cold. Just poured hot water, and it was ready. They're so comforting and easy to digest. At home, I sometimes like adding extra frozen veggies and dumplings. Definitely worth a try and adding this as a staple to your pantry. 10/10!

I love this soup. The only reason it got 4 stars is because it is a little pricey. I usually wait until it goes on Sale to order. The soup is delicious. Miso soup is one of my favorites. It is a fermented product and is a very healthful mainstay in a Japanese diet. These little freeze-dried cubes of soup are very convenient when you want a light, warming snack. All you have to do is boil some water. If you want to stretch it to a more substantial meal, you can add some cooked rice or noodles.

I’ve tried a few of their flavors (my kid is a big fan of the miso’s with a scoop of rice) but I just ordered the okra & molokhia which is a tomato based soup and it’s really good! Very hearty and has a subtle kick of heat, and builds as you eat. It’s yummy and they honestly save me a lot of trouble when I need a break from cooking. Parents know! I took a few packs on our recent camping trip and it did what it needed to do :) keeping these stocked in my pantry!

Caution read carefully! Too expensive for soup. $5.00 for I small packet of soup that when rehydrated make 3/4 of a cup of soup. I miss understood and thought I was getting 4 boxes each with 4 packets.
