Cosynee Pure Brass Tibetan Singing Bowl Set for Meditation, Chakra Healing, Yoga - Diameter 8 Inches, Weight 63.49 Oz

I was a bit hesitant ordering this bowl because I was not sure whether the bowl was seven metal (bell metal) or not. I had contacted the seller twice to inquire and never got a response. I had purchased a larger singing bowl from this vendor and it is one of my favorites for clarity of sound and singing and so I decided to purchase anyway. I just received the signing bowl this morning. It is really nice, the sound is clear and true, and the bowl sings so easily. Was so happy and definitely pleasantly surprised at the sound for such a small bowl. It would be nice if the seller was more helpful and responded to questions sent through Amazon, but nevertheless, the bowl is everything that I could ask for. I would definitely recommend purchasing this singing bowl.

Great resonance, great price! Really a bargain when you consider what you will be paying for others of the same size in other exclusive tibetan bowls websites. Here in Amazon the only issue really is that is a gamble with regards to the note of the bowls you will receive however I am very pleased with the one received!!! It is in the keynote of F but if can change to B depending on which mallet I use. It is good to remember that bowls with same measurements have unique "personalities" therefore different key notes. The important thing really is your connection to the sound frequency. I use them for meditation and prefer the lower frequencies.

Edit: I was able to return the one that didn’t play well and they quickly sent me a new one that does. It sounds great. If you are looking for a bowl to just strike then this may be a good choice but if you want to play it as a singing bowl then this isn’t it. So upset because I had very high hopes with this one. Now to figure out if I can exchange this one with hopes of a better one that I can use or maybe I just need to find another one elsewhere.

As a sound healing practitioner, I really enjoy using this bowl for my body work clients who enjoy the feeling of the vibrations on their skin. It has a beautiful sound and resonates so wonderfully

Bowl- Uneven and unbalanced. Bowl does not ring around top. Mallet - Is damaged suede and the mallet stops the bowl from singing when you go around the rim Pillow- is cheap and broke when I picked it up

I purchased two bowls from two different vendors. The other vendor was more expensive. The Cosynee bowl's sound is just what I was looking for add to my singing bowl set. It sings well, it is weighted just right for hand-held playing, and hitting the mallet on the side makes a beautiful sound. I kept the Cosynee bowl and returned the competitor's bowl. The only negative issue with the Cosynee bowl is that the mallet is covered in mold. I see that others have complained about this issue. I'm wondering why the mallet is covered in mold - and it smells like mold. The mold is on the wooden part and the felt part of the mallet. You'll need to clean the bowl as it smells of mold, but once cleaned the smell is gone. The mallet I didn't even try to clean - there is too much mold. Some reviewers mentioned that the bowl is dirty, It's just dust - easily eliminated with a good cleaning. Please get the mold problem solved, or just don't sell the mallet with the bowl - as the mallet is not usable. This is definitely not giftable with the moldy mallet.
