A Solid Supporting Serum for Hair Density and Strength
I wanted to share a positive review of The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density. The photo attached shows my two-month results, achieved using this serum alongside other hair-growth products, including minoxidil. While this peptide serum won’t deliver dramatic results on its own, I truly believe it plays an important supporting role in a hair growth routine. The science behind the ingredients is solid. Peptides act as cellular messengers, encouraging scalp cells to repair, regenerate, and remain in the active growth phase longer. Copper peptides, in particular, help stimulate hair follicles, promote scalp health, and can even increase follicle size, often resulting in thicker strands and improved density. This serum also includes botanical complexes such as Redensyl, which support scalp circulation and help extend the growth phase. There are many other beneficial ingredients I won’t dive into here, or this review would get far too long but the bottom line is this serum is supportive, not miraculous. Results are gradual, but absolutely worthwhile with patience and consistency. I apply it about 30 minutes after using minoxidil each day, and I’ve found that routine works well for me. If you’re on a hair-growth journey, this is a great product to incorporate into your regimen.

It WORKED!
Can’t believe I’m saying this but it actually WORKS! Apply it daily with a scalp brush and you’ll see results by the end of the bottle!!! No, I was not offered anything for this review. Happily spent my $$$$ on this!

It seems to help
I’m a woman in my sixties with heavily thinning hair. I thought i could just start using Rogaine and everything would be fine. Sadly, once a woman goes through menopause, she is missing an enzyme on the scalp that activates the Rogaine or any topical minoxidil product (and oral use of minoxidil after age 65 is not recommended due to heart issues). So I am trying this product, and a prescription retinol cream along with the Rogaine to try and jumpstart my scalp. I do believe this product has helped fill-in baby hairs at the temples and around the hairline of my face (but not down my part or top of head yet). This product has virtually no scent and is not oily unless you really overuse it. I use only drops of this around my hairline and down my part-line. I do not place it on my hair, but directly onto my scalp, a drop at a time and kind of press it into my scalp. I do this at bedtime and leave it in all night. It actually adds a little texture at the scalp when I wake up in the morning, and my thin hair doesn’t look so flat. I don’t need to wash it out as long as I haven’t applied too much. I also use this after a fresh blowout and just barely dotted it on the thinning areas of my scalp, and somehow, it gives a thicker look to the root area. It dries fairly quickly.

Meh. Leaves hair greasy, no real signs it’s working.
This is a decent addition to your hair growth arsenal if you’re already using products with more clinical evidence behind them (mainly minoxidil), but it isn’t likely to cause a very noticeable amount of hair growth on its own. I haven’t noticed much of a difference since I started using it, but I also use 5% minoxidil once daily. While it’s not QUITE as greasy as some reviewers claim, it will definitely leave your hair at least a BIT noticeably greasy until the next time you wash. For that reason, I basically have to skip using this serum if I’m going anywhere important or want to style my hair in anything other than a tight ponytail/bun before my next scheduled wash. I assume that your mileage may vary if you have dark-colored hair.

Love it
I love this, I’m on my sixth bottle, each lasts me about two months, I use almost daily and have to force myself to skip days, one of the only products I’ve noticed significant regrowth and reduced shedding, it’s light and non greasy, I do mix in my own Ahk-cu, but feel like this is the perfect serum to do that, all others I’ve tried leave my hair crunchy or oily.

Doesn't work. Sorry
An honest review here it absolutely does nothing. It just makes your hair greasy. I hate to say it. I've used it for 3 to 4 months. It has done nothing for hair growth. Absolutely nothing. Maybe it's placebo for other people, but it does nothing at all I think I get better results from head and shoulders than I do from this. Maybe works for some other people due to some kind of enzyme reaction but at the end of the day it really doesn't do anything and the studies are limited and the studies are funded by the company that produces the product. I do love their caffeine cream serum, but this doesn't really work.

Gentle and my hair feels great
After a week trying a new red light therapy cap, hair on the back of my head drastically shedded. I stopped the cap, then along with supplements I looked at serums. Nutrafol is pricey, so I got The Ordinary's Multi-Peptide. While I wait for my hair to grow back (fingers crossed), The Ordinary's serum is gentle. I use it generously at night & a little in the morning. I'm not sure yet re: hair regrowth, but it does create an illusion of increased thickness, so the hair loss doesn't look as prominent. My hair also feels stronger when I run my hand thru my hair, despite the ongoing shedding.
