A Game-Changer for me
These pens are truly amazing. My arthritis had progressed to the point that I could not write legibly any more. And even my unreadable writing came with alot of pain. My physical therapist gave me this pen. The first time I tried it my writing was the beautiful script that I had had since I was in Grade School. It lifted me up and gave me hope.

A great find for those who have trouble holding a pen
What a wonderful find. They were a great find for someone with severe arthritis. Bright colors so they're hard to get lost in a drawer. They seem to write very smoothly.

The best pen for hyper mobile hands or closed pen grip
I wish I had these when I was in grade school. I have extremely hypermobile fingers. I have never been able to hold a pen or pencil with the typical tripod grasp. I have always had very poor writing tolerance. I recently learned from an occupational therapist that these things are all related. Not having an open tripod grasp leads to fatigue, and poor stability in your hands and fingers means you cannot maintain a proper tripod grasp! These pens are the solution! So much more comfortable, though it does take some getting used to. They are a bit bulky and the y shape makes them harder to store. The biggest problem i have had is that they are too fun to click and then to tips fall off. But they go right back on. I work in healthcare and so many patients have asked me about my odd looking pens. When i explain it, half the time they say, omg that's me too. So i let them try the pen and they instantly understand how their life has been missing something prior to that point. In terms of pen quality, they are durable, lasting, smooth writing, and have never leaked and i generally keep them in my pocket or the bottom of my bag which i throw around carelessly so they have taken a beating. After all these months I still have all three and they are going strong.

Not great for CMC arthritis
I can see how this design would be great for arthritis in the fingers but I didn’t find it especially helpful for my CMC (thumb base) arthritis. You still have to stabilize the side with your thumb pretty strongly to control the writing and for me, it’s still more comfortable to use a standard pen between my pointer and middle fingers. The build quality of the pen seems very good. The ink cartridge itself is low quality and I’d need to find one with a larger writing tip and smoother flowing ink. I write a lot at work and am picky about my pens!

Very helpful
These are great! My husband has Parkinson’s and his handwriting has gotten very bad but these really help stabilize his hand .

Neat concept
Works great for a child who struggles with using the correct hand grip for writing. Would recommend.

Relieves hand pain when writing
I'm going back to school at the ripe age of 44 and studying arithmetic. Regular pens were destroying my hands and causing me a lot of pain. These pens work for me, as someone post carpral tunnel and trigger finger surgery. Finding these pens make it easier for me to continue my studies pain free. The pens write smoothly and don't take long to get used to the new writing position

Bought these for my Mother as following a long hospital stay she had little or no use in her right hand and was unable to write. Prior to this she has really enjoyed writing to friends and family. These pens were the solution I was looking for. After some practise she is now able to write again. This seems to be because the weight of the hand provides the pressure necessary on the pen for it to write, rather than the fingers (as with regular shaped pens). She loves these pens, so, so do I! Many thanks :)
