Black Billet CNC Saddle Bag Latches Cover for Harley Davidson Touring Electra Glide Ultra 2014-2017

I installed these on a 2019 Street Glide FLHX Vivid Black. There are some machine marks in the aluminum but I polished those out with Mother’s polish before installing. They have a nice shine now. Install was easy. 1. Remove the upper screws from the saddlebag tether strap. 2. Remove the 3 screws holding the OEM latch cover. 3. Position the new latch cover and install the 3 screws as they were before. 4. Reattach the tether strap and you are finished. Tip: when the saddlebag tether strap is removed the bag lid puts a lot of strain on the hinge point if it isn’t held in place. I used some painters tape to hold the bag lid to avoid strain on the hinge point before removing the tether. It frees your hands to install the new one I like the design and the screw holes aligned perfectly. This item is much less expensive than some of the other aftermarket latch covers. Time will tell if it holds up well to the elements but it seems to be well made. I am happy with the purchase.

Only reason that did not give a 5 star, is that I did see in the description that the cover was a gloss black, my bike is the denim flat black, still looks good on the bike, just not sure if I am going to keep these, alter them or just find some different one that are the flat black.

My saddlebag latch covers were packaged very well and were shipped promptly. I was very pleased with the quality of the latch covers and I will recommend this product and company in the future. VERY HAPPY!!
