This work well and was easy to load and use. It does take a little hand strength to squeeze the handle.

The least pleasurable part of being an artist is framing. It’s not creative, and I just want to hurry and finish so that I can get back to painting. My old point driver breathed its last breath and I purchased this as a replacement. WOW! Things have sure improved in 20 years. This is smooth, easy and really quick. It is heavy-duty, comes with quite a few points and makes a distasteful job actually pleasant. I highly recommend this particular item. You won’t be disappointed.

Works so much better than I expected. It just works, I've used it in poplar, walnut, alder, and oak frames. Heck I've even used it in a couple of plastic frames and it has just worked. I think the 1000 points will probably last me the rest of my life. The quality is great loads smooth, triggers smooth. Just an all around good point driver.

Treibt die Punkte/Stifte rein, ja. Aber nicht so tief, wie erwartet. Man muss schon echt feste mit dem Gerät gegen den Rahmen drücken, bevor man abdrückt, damit der Punkt/Stift einigermaßen tief steckenbleibt. Sonst erfüllt das Gerät seinen Zweck – gerade bei IKEA-Rahmen, wie RIBBA und dergleichen.

I have only used this once to try it out. I bought this because it was less expensive than others, and I didn't think I'd be using a point driver much but wanted to have one on hand. After trying it and finding it very stiff and cumbersome to use with my small, arthritic hands, I came back to the pictures of it on Amazon. I realized then that I had been using it backwards. So you might want to make sure the driver end is pointing the right way to make it easier to grip.

I have to make my glass groove bigger to use this tool.
