Thin, but works as expected. Sticks immediately to metal and glass. Great cost, good amount for price. Black, can get a little wrinkled if tossed around a bit. Once you take off the backing, don't try and place it back, it will leave residue from the paper on the tape.

The black aluminum foil tape worked out great. I'm remodeling the downstairs of a friend's house and they have a pellet stove the pipe was semi shiny metal and kind of stuck out . So I used high temp black spray paint on it. Then used the black foil tape to go around the seams of the pipe. It stuck really well and sealed up the seams great too. Also it's pretty thick not flimsy at all. I've used the stove regularly due to the cold snap that came through. It's holding up great and didn't let off any smell when the pipe got hot. The color blended in really well with the paint and didn't stick out like the silver version would have. I definitely would recommend this tape.

Does the job perfect on my snake tank

I used double bubble insulation in black to skirt my toy hauler. after watching several video's on how adhesive snaps come loose, foil tape was recommended due to ease of removal, extreme durability to hot and cold and better than duct tape. It does say water resistant not water proof, I had to reapply after it rained in spots. It took 4 rolls for 90ft of skirting. This was however, better than the brand I just bought and It does look good.

Easy to use BLACK aluminum tape for the black sound deadening seams. Just like the silver type, simply peel off the backing as you lay it on the seams, use your roller to smooth it and you get a nice looking finished job. It's not quite as dark black as the Siless I used but it's close enough.

The adhesion I would say is about 6/10. I used this tape to cover a few holes and protect an area in an engine bay and it worked great for that, but I ended up replacing it with something else as it did end up peeling after a couple weeks. Months later I was using this tape to connect my dryer vent piping under my house and found it very easy to work with but it simply didn’t hold the vent very well. If you are looking to use this for a cosmetic purpose I think it’s great and durable enough. It tears very easily by hand and is a decent value for the amount of tape you get in one roll. No odd smell or any issues except it’s just not the stickiest.
