Pleasantly Surprised
Picked up several of these fans for the office after our old ones up and died on us. Wasn't expecting much given the price, but I was pleasantly surprised (roll credits). The fans themselves are lightweight and small enough to fit on a desk without any difficulty. The build quality is plastic (no surprises there) and relatively cheap feeling, but the stand is stable, and the thing works, which is better than some of the other products that I've purchased in my lifetime. Now on to actual performance. This fan is potent, pushing a decent amount of air for its size on all three levels which are selected via the single button on the back of the unit. I would say the first level is plenty for most use cases as an office fan, with the other two levels providing increasing levels of airflow. The downside to this fan primarily comes from the noise it generates, especially on the medium and high airflow settings. To be honest, it sounds like a jet engine at full tilt, and would not be pleasant for you or any unlucky coworker in the vicinity. Thankfully, the first level is reasonable quiet, only letting off a mild higher-pitched whirring. Overall, I think that this fan does its job of being a cheap and effective means to stay cool during the warmer seasons. While the longevity of the fan is dubious, for $9 (while it was on sale), I can't argue. 5/5

Great fan for the price
I would highly recommend this fan to anyone who needs a small fan that can fit anywhere on their desk. The fan blows plenty of air and you can feel it from a distance. It has multiple modes to adjust the strength of the fan. It works really well, even on the first mode. Before I bought this fan, my hands would sweat a lot as I'm studying. My hands and feet tend to sweat excessively in hot environments, but now I use this fan and my hands don't sweat when I'm studying anymore! Also, the fan isn't too noisy and doesn't really distract you as you're working, unlike most fans out there that are way too loud. The only thing is that it has a USB cable, so you need to find somewhere to plug it in. Also, even though the noise is manageable, the last mode sounds like a frickin hair dryer. Other than that, it's overall a great fan, especially for the value! Pros: - Blows a LOT of air (with multiple modes) - Level 1: light breeze - Level 2: stronger breeze - Level 3: hair dryer - Size is not too big and fits anywhere - Good value - Rotates 360 degrees (because why not) Cons: - Requires USB cable Can be either pro/con (depending on your preference): - Noise - Level 1 -- quiet - Level 2 -- manageable - Level 3 -- hair dryer

The little lifesaver
I didn’t realize how much I needed this little fan until I got it. The Faraday USB desk fan is compact, quiet, and surprisingly powerful for its size. It keeps me cool without sounding like a jet engine, and the adjustable angles are perfect for aiming the breeze exactly where I need it. I also love that it’s USB-powered—I can plug it into my laptop, power bank, or wall adapter without hunting for an outlet. The build feels solid, not flimsy like some other small fans I’ve tried. Overall, it’s the perfect balance of convenience, portability, and cooling power. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay comfortable while just trying to survive summer.

Cute and powerful!
Got this for my work desk and conveniently plugs into usb port without the need for batteries. Small but might with its 3 power levels. Super cute and the yellow is my favorite shade. Seems sturdy and pivots smoothly. I’ve used it regularly for a couple months now during a regular 8hr work schedule and it’s just as powerful as when I got it! It’s not loud but you can hear a low/soft rumble from the cubicle next door when on the higher setting. However it likes to move when on so I used mounting putty on the base to keep it from sliding off my desk. And when trying to turn it off, you press the power button 1,2,3, then 4th time turns off, but sometimes it goes back to level 1 and you have to keep pressing the button until it turns off. Overall super cute, convenient and powerful for the price!

These are surprisingly good!
These are great desk fans, barely pull any electricity, needs 1A supply, like a USB phone charger, or can be run from a USB on a computer (tested with USB2 and USB3 ports, both work for all 3 speeds). Has 3 speeds. At 5V lowest speed pulls 0.2A, medium 0.50A, and full 0.9A. Can be used with little battery charge packs, those usually have anywhere from 2000mAh to 10,000mAh, this fan on low consumes about 200mAh. So for something like a camping situation a small battery pack will power this fan for 5 to 10 hours on low. Construction is good, the plastic is solid. We've accumulated around 1500 hours on ours running it in a window at night to get cold air into the room. Still working as well as day 1. It is NOT silent, even on lowest speed you can hear it, but I would consider it to be a quiet enough background hum. Noise measures as low speed 46db, medium 55db, high 60db. For reference silent would be somewhere around 35db which is the level of a background of a bedroom. One complaint/change Id would make is add an on/off button. You have to cycle through high to get to off. So from off position 1 press is low, another press is medium, another press is high, another press is OFF. So if you are on low you have to press 3 times to get to OFF.

Terrific little fan
I honestly don’t know what I would do without this little guy. I use him every day at work when I have to work the front desk. The fan helps me stay cool and circulates the air. Anyone who works with the public can tell you there’s some crazy smells out there. I’ve had this fan almost a year now. I had the exact same one before for over a year. I only had to buy a new one because it accidentally got stepped on. The fan isn’t silent, but not overly loud in my opinion. I normally use the fan on the lowest setting though.

JUNK
Junk! I bought it and got it on December 5, 2025, and it stopped working on today, March 6, 2026. 3 months later. I will not be buying anything from them again! I only rated it a 1 because it would not let me give it zero stars.

It’s MEH.
TL;DR: Plenty of airflow, motor is noisy, very unbalanced and dances around unless you tape it down to your desk. First of all, it moves a pretty decent amount of air. Mine is placed between two raised monitors about 2 feet away from me and low setting is more than enough air. Medium is used after I take a quick, brisk walk outside and want to cool quickly. High is too much for me. At high speed it moves enough air that I hear the wind rush past my ears. All good qualities since the flow variance gives you options for placement. Now to the bad, which is basically everything else. It’s noisy, and not as the fan blades are noisy, but the motor itself. It’s just a higher-pitched electrical noise and it’s distracting. Annoying if your office/room is quiet. It is on the larger side. So it can be limiting for placement. The biggest downer is that it is NOT balanced. This thing will dance around, even with its grippy, squishy pads. I had to tape mine down. Maybe it’s just mine, but it’s quite frustrating. That alone is bad enough that it levels down the good of this fan.
