You might as well have a book that teaches you to assume this, and more importantly, how to deal with it. An absolute goldmine. Review: My Favorite Anesthesia Resource - I first purchased Stoelting in 1984. It was a tremendous resource during my residency. I just bought this latest edition, 33 years along in my career. It is an extremely useful compilation of pathophysiology, pharmacology and perioperative management. I highly recommend this text whether you are in training or actively practicing in the field.

I first purchased Stoelting in 1984. It was a tremendous resource during my residency. I just bought this latest edition, 33 years along in my career. Excellent Resource
Fantastic resource for any anesthesia provider. Provides succinct explanations on many physiologic alterations and their anesthetic considerations.
