This is well worth the price for a stamp collector who is just beginning or a seasoned veteran of stamp collecting
Let me first start by explaining I have been a stamp collector for 45 years. Yes, I was an 8 year old kid who got a Minkus Worldwide Junior Album in the late 1960s. My dad introduced me to the hobby and I've been enjoying this hobby for 45 years. I have a LOT of stamp albums of various nations that I enjoy collecting and most of my albums are Scott albums. Scott is considered one of the best around. I have a few Schaubek albums as well and a Lindner hingeless Austrian album for my Austrian stamps and WWII occupation stamps. Now, I stopped collecting the U.S. stamps in 1991 as there were just too many stamps being cranked out by the USPS. Now, I'm at at point in my pre 1949 U.S. album that I either splurge BIG BIG time for a few stamps left to fill or I get back to collecting Modern U.S. along with other nations I collect. The Mystic Set is a 3 volume set and I only needed part of Volume 2 and ALL of Volume 3. It comes with 3 binders and a LOT of pages. Each section will take up a binder and almost be too much for the 3 ring binders. My only real complaint? One of the binders does not close properly already which is a disappointment. Now, I solved that issue by using a Scott 3 Ring Binder that fits the pages perfectly. The Mystic Stamp pages, by the way, are beautifully done with the Scott catalog # below each stamp and the page layout(s) are excellent. There are some interesting explanations of stamps on the right side of the page that also add to the album(s). This is an excellent price for the 3 albums and binders though I think the binders are not as quality as they could be, but I think that is part of the low price. The pages are a good paper bond weight and as noted the layout of the pages is really nice. These albums are outstanding for a beginner or a "more seasoned stamp collector/philatelist" that I have become. I have already started using the 2nd and 3rd volume pages using mounts to place my stamps into the proper spots on the various stamp pages. Yes, this is worth the price. The binders could be better, but that's a tic tac issue. You can use a Scott Stamp 3 ring binder or maybe take the pages to a Office supply store to find a binder(s) that will ensure the pages do not tear over time when using the binder rings.

Wonderful Album!!!
Recently I received a HUGE lot (10's of thousands) of used stamps and have been trying to find a good way to organize them all. After looking into several options, I decided to purchase the Mystic 3-volume American Heirloom Album. So far, I am VERY impressed. The albums seem well made and are sturdy. My only complaint is that they are just BARELY large enough to hold all of the sheets that come with them and it makes flipping through the pages a little difficult without damaging them or tearing the part where the holes are punched. I'm considering buying a 4th binder just to leave some room as the stamps start adding to the width of the pages. Overall though, I don't think you can go wrong with this Album! It comes with all kinds of goodies, including some nice stamps to get you started. What I have found the most useful is the 2019 guide showing all the stamps in full color with their associated Scott numbers. This is essential for identifying stamps and then finding their locations in the album. My 9 year old daughter loves finding the stamps in the catalog and then telling me the locations so I can mount them! We have spent HOURS together organizing this collection and I hope that she will find enjoyment in stamp collecting for years to come!!! Great product!!!

Awesome product to new and old stamp collectors to organize all stamps.
I am very happy that I got the 3-volume American Heirloom Stamp collection books. Received all products and all is good. I collected stamps from the 1980's thru 2003. The pages with these books go to 2017 which is wonderful I can still add more stamps as I find them from old envelopes. Love the products. I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this purchase and the U.S. Stamp Collecting Starter Kit which I may give to my niece if she is interested in this hobby. I have entered all of my stamps in the books. I have also moved some of the pages to additional binders since after you put the stamps on the pages then the pages get fuller therefore making the pages not all fit in the binder they came in. Which is fine the pages are very well illustrated and have descriptions for what stamp is to go where, whether it is a coil, sheet, ect. I added some additional clear page protectors for some pages that I wanted to have more protection in the books as well or to stand out more so I could notice them. Everyone organizes differently. I did not use the hinges that came with the pages. I used picture corners to hold in place and this way the back of stamp is not attached to the hinge that over time actually falls off the page anyway. However, not happy with getting additional newsletters and envelopes from Mystic Stamp company wanting me to buy more which I am not at this time. So I will have to contact them to remove my address from the list. If I wanted the additional mail I should have the option of selecting that somehow when ordering.

This is a magnificent set!!
This is what a stamp album should always be. Every stamp US printed since 1847, I think. Organized chronologically and keyed to the Scott system,. They included their own US stamp catalog, also keyed to the Scott system, which was much easier to scan through when looking for a stamp identity. You can also get "Back of the Book" pages, which include things like Special Delivery,, Postage Due, etc. Can't find a single thing about this set which is other than first class!! By all means,, buy it!!!
