works as advertised
Package arrived on time and in good shape, the cleaner works as advertised, although not a commercial cleaner, it is a whole house cleaner. Easy to clean up, the rinse setting gets rest of soap out of carpet, the brush works well and easy to clean, the waste water tank could have been a little larger, overall good product worth the money,

Great. Get lots of shampoo for a big house.
Things I know you want to know: // Worth it? Yes. I paid $129 but would have paid more knowing what I know. // Does it get deep? Yes. I used Oxy carpet cleaner, but man does it clean. // Noticeable difference? Yes! You'll notice that my carpet is much cleaner. But keep in mind that my carpet is gray and beige, so it hides dirt well. But the fact that it's so much brighter is undeniable proof that this machine does a great job. // Easy to learn? Yes. After a while, you'll get the hang of it and know when to release more shampoo on areas that need the extra treatment. But it's easy to use. // Easy to maneuver? Yes! It's light even with a full gallon of water. And it's just like a vacuum. It's surprisingly maneuverable and smooth. No kinks in the motion. Very smooth. // Long cord? Yes. My living room is huge (the furniture is still in the living room in the picture, not in another room), and I only had to plug it in another socket to get around the furniture. // How often to refill? This depends on how fast you are cleaning. Normally you want a slow, deliberate pace. I can go for 10-15 minutes before needing to dump the water. // *** When do I refill? *** You'll know when when it's time to refill when 1: You hear the suction sound change to just being a motor around 2: You'll stop seeing water being pulled in when you back up 3: The orange ball in the dirty water reservoir has risen to the hole. This is a sign that the dirty water is as high as it can go, and the cleaner will stop sucking in more dirty water. // Easy to pour and refill? Yes. You'll develop a quick change routine: pour dirty water; rinse sink while refill water is getting hot; refill and go. There is almost no way to over fill. The engineering has angled the reservoirs in a way that makes this extremely difficult. // Shampoo If you have a big house, I'd say get more than 64 oz of shampoo. There's nothing wrong with having leftovers. For a normal house, 64 should do all the rooms. // Sturdy? Very. I didn't have any mishaps but I stepped on the hose and it did not break. // Stairs? Attachments? I didn't do the stairs yet (hey, my house is big) but I tested the attachments and they are up to the task. The hand scrubber tool has lots of brushes and they rotate with power! I did my couch and it scrubbed out a stain I didn't think would come out. Anyway, I'm tired of writing. Just get it. If this doesn't tell you it's worth it, I don't know what will. I'd like to be with some ladies right now but instead I'm taking the time to write this review because I'm so impressed with it. If you don't like it, you can return it, and you're covered with 2 year warranty, I think. The game I'm watching on the TV just mentioned a Slurpee. Maaan I want one of those right now. You should get one after you get this because you can clean up any mess you make.

Powerful and easy to use
This carpet cleaner does a great job removing deep dirt and stains. It’s easy to assemble, simple to use, and leaves carpets looking fresh and clean. The attachments are very useful for upholstery and stairs. Great value for the price and solid performance overall.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Powerful deep clean, but bulky and a bit noisy
The Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe does a genuinely good job at deep cleaning carpets. I used it on high-traffic areas and old stains, and the difference was noticeable after just one pass. The brushes work well, and the carpet dries faster than I expected, which is a big plus. The included tools are useful for upholstery and stairs, and the cleaner solution that comes with it works well without leaving a strong chemical smell. It definitely feels like a machine designed for real cleaning, not just surface freshening. That said, it’s not perfect. The unit is fairly bulky and takes up a decent amount of storage space. It’s also louder than a regular vacuum, and filling/emptying the water tanks can get messy if you’re not careful. Pros: • Strong cleaning power • Noticeable results on stains and high-traffic areas • Good attachments for stairs and upholstery • Carpets dry relatively quickly Cons: • Bulky and heavy to move around • Loud during use • Water tanks could be easier to handle Overall, this is a very effective carpet cleaner for homes with pets, kids, or heavy use. It’s not the most compact or quiet machine, but the cleaning performance makes up for it.

Works Well
So actually, I bought a used one. It was supposedly in “very good” condition, but it came absolutely filthy and smelled like dog urine. I’m glad I bought extra soap because the soap was also empty in the bottle. So just watch out for those used items from Amazon because I don’t think they get checked. I chatted with a nice very professional person who managed to get me a small discount considering the fact I had to wash the entire item , all the pieces, and it wasn’t possible to return it for me because it just weighs too much. Now that aside, I just cleaned three bedrooms and a hallway and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. So far that I can see it cleaned really well and I went through one time with soap and one time without to rinse and it seemed to do a good job. It does make a lot of noise, but that’s to be expected. Overall, I’m happy I got it because I will be able to use it whenever I want and it will keep my carpets cleaner. This machine is pretty heavy. I only had to empty the water every time I finished a room. Just watch out for those people out there who use something one time and return it dirty. I appreciate that Amazon will take returns when things are in poor condition however, I just wish somebody had checked it over before they sent it to me. I was also grateful that the person I worked with was very professional and helped me. Now excuse me while I take a nap.

Great vacuum easy to use and works well
I refrained for months over buying a carpet cleaner unable to commit. I rolled the dice and purchased the Hoover because it was affordable compared to the $200+ range, and was attracted to the easy assembling/disassembling of cleaning containers. My carpet was filthy (with 3 kids and a large dog, it’s just a losing battle) and didn’t have high hopes due to the carpet already being a darker whitish/gray color, but boy this thing did the job! Pros: It was easy to fill the solution and water container as well as empty the dirty water container. Of course the dirty containers are always a little tricker to clean, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t manage easy. To add, clipping and buckling containers back in is super easy and obvious which is reassuring. Lastly, once it dries, it looked significantly cleaner after one round. I did go over the carpet in rinse mode after the wash mode and that helped. I don’t think it took a vast amount of time to dry, and goes fairly quickly with heater or fan on. Cons: It only came with a 6 ounce bag of solution which wasn’t enough to do more than one of my rooms, but the solution goes rather quickly, especially if they expect you to use their Hoover specific solution. It is a little bulky, but it does have quite a bit of jibe going on so it’s tolerable. But all in all I would recommend it.

Company is oblivious to the issues with SpinScrub Brushes
Initial reaction when I had first received this Carpet cleaner, was pretty good. Opened the box, only thing I had to assemble was the handle and it was ready to go. Most of the 5-Star reviews have covered the good part of its functioning. I will highlight what they may not have experienced yet. The SpinScrub brushes makes the spinning action using a turbine mechanism. This turbine has cheap parts and it starts rusting as soon as it comes in touch with water, which could happen right after the first wash. This issue has been widely reported in Hoover's other models as well, and yet Hoover's clueless Engineering team is unable to change the design or the parts and keeps on using non-stainless steel and cheap parts which seize to operate, right after they come in contact with water and rust. Check the following link on Amazon Q&A where a user has asked a question after his or her machine stopped working: https://www.amazon.com/Brushes-not-spinning-something-internally/forum/Fx23UOVL4I8KXTK/Tx26GM4WHEYHZHV/1?asin=B00009R66F When I experienced this issue as I was getting ready to use the machine, I did an online search and numerous videos on how to fix the Hoover carpet cleaner's turbine mechanism. It's just been a year and have used the cleaner twice. I am very handy with fixing things. So, I thought, I will give it a try before calling Hoover for warranty claim. In my case though, it won't fix as the shaft between two bearings is completely rusted and jammed. The bearings are rusted too, tried using WD-40 and tried to move the part but it won't budge. I have now sent a message to Hoover Support, let's see how quickly they can have it fixed. I will come back and update the review accordingly. ----- Update as of May 4th ----- My machine was still under warranty. I had contacted the Hoover Support via email but they refused to send the affected part and instead referred to me to their authorized service center. I tried to reason with them that it's waste of time for me drive about 11 mi to take the machine for a problem which I have already diagnosed. They refused and reiterated to take it to authorized service center. I had eventually taken the machine last week to service center. The service center folks were very receptive and told me that this is a common problem but good for their business. Warranty or not, they get paid either way. Service Center had called me last Saturday that they had replaced the part under warranty. I just need to now pick it up. ----- Update as of May 6th ----- I picked up the machine today and it has a new turbine that rotates the SpinScrub brushes. This repair was done under warranty but I am concerned that warranty would soon expire. So, I asked the service tech about what options I have when (not if) it happens again. He told me that the part is about $30 and their service fee for changing the part is $20. So, I will be looking at $50 expense every time this part needs replacement as the company WILL NOT ship the part directly to consumer even if they could handle the repairs themselves. An additional fact to keep in mind before you pick this cleaner.

I Bought a White Rug With Three Boys and a Dog. Enter: Hoover
When we moved in two years ago, I tried so hard not to buy a white rug. I really did. But it fit the space. It was the right vibe. You’re just optimistic. And you need a Hoover. 10/10. Would buy again. Would also like Hoover to sponsor my house after demonstration. One side is bright, fluffy, and looks like a catalog photo.
