These are really good. Firstly to get the right size you need to know your nose bridge width then you can get the right fit for your glasses. I've worn glasses most of my life and recently bought from the American brand Pair knowing full well that their adult frames were slightly too big thinking I could get them adjusted at the Opticians. The Opticians can only do so much and I found my glasses slipping, not helped by my slightly greesy skin and sweat from the cafe kitchen which I've been working in part time. Anyway once you have squeaky clean glasses you apply these pads and they are very sticky. They stay in place for ages and stop your glasses slipping even in hot environments. I bought a pot in April and now it's mid August and I'm just about to buy another pot so a pot of them has lasted me 4 months including the through the very hot periods of this year's UK summer 26 degrees + and much hotter when I've been in the cafe kitchen.

Positives: Easy to apply and comfortable to use. Provides good elevation of spectacles and minimises slipping. Negatives: Adhesive and gel-structure beak down over a fairly short time, particularly in warmer weather, meaning that the pads slide out of position and come unstuck.

I should note that the glasses I applied these to have a plastic frame, so I cannot comment on the effectiveness with other materials. Summary: Easy to apply, comfortable, last 1 month before falling off, don’t leave in bathroom while showering. These would be perfect if I could get them to last longer than a month before they fall off. Before applying them I cleaned the area with an alcohol solution and left to dry. Once applying them I kept pressure on them for 2 minutes. I have used 2 pairs which each lasted 1 month before they lost their stickiness and began to move around, eventually falling off. My first pair lasted only a week, but this was down to user error. I had been leaving my glasses in the bathroom while showering and the condensation in the room must have weakened the bond. After this I didn’t bring my glasses into the bathroom while showering and they lasted much longer.

These are the best pads I’ve ever bought - they are a bit expensive but worth every penny- I’ve tried so many others and none of them are as good as these- eventually they lose their stick (as do they all) but I just glue them back on and it takes much longer for that to happen- nice and thick and comfortable

A little on the costly but easy to handle fit well on glasses have not slipped .Prompt delivery.

Advertised as 5 pairs but only 1 pair was received in the package so very expensive. Opened and used the pair so couldn't return item. They are also extremely thick and noticeable and pushed my glasses up too high on my face so that the lenses were not placed correctly and vision was affected.

Bought 1.8 mm ones to stop my glasses slipping down (it was causing me frustration as it disturbed my concentration while working) and also to make my glasses to rest slightly higher since my glasses were too close to my eyes which made the glasses to constantly steamed up in front of my eyes (a peculiar issue, I know). The pads worked and achieved both purposes, and my glasses stopped steaming up as it is just far enough from my eyes. The pair of pads lasted exactly 6 months after attached to my glasses - both fell off at the same time, so I presume that's how long the adhesive lasts. Highly recommended.

No regret despite higher price and strong stick didn't fall with washing with water and soup almost once weekly

These are great at keeping my glasses from sliding down my nose. For the last two years I’ve been using these 1.8mm pads to improve the fit of my plastic frame glasses. Since my flat Asian facial structure with a less than prominent nose has a hard time with plastic frames, I needed something to build up the nose pads area. I tried other adhesive nose pads (silicone) but they just irritated my skin and didn’t grip adequately. So I tried these Gecko Grip pads and they were an absolute game-changer! They are plenty thick, sticking out enough to build up the nose pads area of my frames enough so my glasses would sit off my cheek bones. What I really like about them is they are textured with tiny “gecko feet” which dramatically increases the surface area of the material so they can grip much better and more gently without feeling sticky like silicone pads. The 3M adhesive is plenty aggressive so the pads stay stuck on my frames for a good long while. I have pretty oily skin so my “nose grease” does eventually make its way under the pads so they start peeling off. Each set of pads are usually good for about three months for me. Your mileage may vary. My whole family (we’re all Asians with poor eyesight) uses these pads and are very happy with them and wholeheartedly endorse them with thumbs up.
