A Mouse Cookie First Library (If You Give...) Paperback – Illustrated, April 24, 2007

I bought this book for my nephew. I bought it item when it was on sale and was happy with the price for the book set. I will say it is smaller than the original book, but keep in mind it’s a board book and it’s thicker for children to hold onto.

These books are so cute and take me back to my childhood when my grandma would read them to me. Love that they’re durable too!

I loved these books as a child. The analogy of giving a mouse a cookie has always been on my mind. Now, my son gets to enjoy a book that I don’t mind reading 10xs a day. 10/10 and board books are for the best for people his size.

The ordering option said paperback but the picture looked more like a board book, so I took a chance. They were thankfully board books, as that’s all I’ll buy in this season of life. Cute books from my childhood that I can now share with my child.

This has been a favorable of mine to read to kindergartners. It’s fun to hear what they think about the mouse’s requests. Does the mouse go too far with his requests? Who has the clean up after the mouse? The series is delightful and the illustrations are beautiful.

My grandson was excited it was a box set. Making a five year old happy. Grandma win. Great buy.

We gave these books to my daughter for Christmas when she was 18 months old. Six months later, she still loves these books. They are small enough for her to hold (but not super tiny) and very engaging. When we get to the part about him forgetting the lunchbox at school, we have a special face imitating Mouse. We also recently went on vacation and spent about an hour of the flight pretending Mouse was on the plane with us. (And maybe scared a few passengers by her yelling out, "it's a mouse!")

These are such a great book collection and great for little children that was try to rip the pages out of books.
