Offering a small footprint to free valuable bench space, the Weller WD1002 Digital Soldering Station comes with a powerful 80-watt pencil that allows rapid production when working with lead-free solder, high mass components, and other demanding applications. A special silver heating element for low thermal loss and fast recovery make this unit ideal for continuous production work. The interchangeable barrel gives you the option of working with either a traditional length or shorter tip-to-grip.

The WD1 station features three independent and fully programmable preset buttons that enable you to selectfully programmable preset buttons that allow you to select a preset temperature for each. The operation of the buttons is similar to the station selection buttons on a car radio. Just set the temperature to the desired setting, press and hold and of the buttons for two seconds, and that button is preset to that temperature. You can program anywhere within the station's temperature range of 150 to 850 degrees F.

The matching micro soldering pencil stand offers superior function with a fou-position tilt adjustment that you can set at the angle that feels best to you. It also features an antistatic finish to ensure safety against electrostatic discharge and three tip storage slots.

The Weller WD1002 is a digital 85w/120v single channel soldering power station unit that comes with the WP80 (80w) soldering pencil and stand (WDH10). This unit features three freely programmable temperature preset buttons that allow for quick and easy temperature changes. Temperature range is from 150 Degree F to 850 Degree F. The large high contrast LCD display provides more information at a glance. Power station has °F/°C switching allowing the temperature display to read in either °F or °C. Unit also features setback time and auto/off time programming of 1-99 minutes before temperature settings go back to idle mode, or station automatically powers down. In addition, unit features temperature lockout so supervisor can easily set a temperature that cannot be changed by the operator. As well as, temperature standby which allows the selection of a desired setback temperature down to 200 Degree F. And, temperature offset which allows the display temperature to be adjusted +/- 72 Degree F when working with higher mass tips, where the temperature reading can be affected by the mass of the tip. The WP80 soldering pencil allows rapid production when working with lead-free solder, high mass components, and other demanding applications. The special silver spool heating element provides low thermal loss and fast recovery. The soldering pencil stand (WDH10) has 4-position tilt. ESD safe to protect sensitive components.
