Back in my home country, after my son was born, we started using Johnson and Johnson baby wash. We did not get this brand there. But he developed red spots and such on his skin due to that. So doctor there suggested to use a mild shampoo and other things like Lotion and such. They recommended Sebamed products which were imported from Germany and hence also very expensive. A 8 oz bottle of wash was like $9 (yes that is crazy expensive in my home country currency) when you could get Johnson and Johnson etc for under $2. We went ahead and started using sebamed everything from body wash to lotion to shampoo and even diaper rash cream. Then we came to US and initially I got sebamed here as well. But then we read about Aveeno and though this is also expensive compared to equate and other such brands, but still cheaper than sebamed and availability was plenty at walmart, kroger and such. So we tried this and this things also works very well for my son and he seem to have no problems with it. I suggest doing a subscribe and save on amazon for this product and would recommend to any parent here for their babies.

We've used this shampoo/baby wash on our baby since she was one week old. It's very gentle while still effectively cleansing her skin. She smells so good and fresh after her bath. Everyone remarks on how great she smells! We use it as both a shampoo and as a body wash and it functions well for both purposes. We first received a bottle as a gift at our baby shower but I've continued to purchase it since it works so well. Her skin is never dry or irritated and its no-tears formula is ideal for babies and small children.

I'm 54- a big baby! I love this baby wash and shampoo and I use it for myself. Every now and then I use it on my hair and it is truly a great shampoo. I don't know why adults need anything stronger. I find the scent to be much more pleasing than other baby soaps. I tried the Baby Magic and it smelled really chemical to me. This is a very soothing soft clean scent. I think I tried the lavender vanilla scent but didn't care for it as much as this one.

Like it. Gentle, not drying.

This is my preferred shampoo/body wash for my 2 kids - a 3 yr old and a 5 month old baby. It smells nice and not overly strong and bubbles just enough for my daughters abundant hair. It's tear free and gentle on the skin. I prefer this size to the larger one even if it's less economical for ease of travel (we take it to swim class) and keep extras at relatives houses for sleepovers.

This by far the best product for baby skin care. My daughters both have dry skin, especially during the winter. I use Aveeno twice a day, once in the morning, and once after their evening bath. The results are great They don't itch as much as they used to, and their skin is very soft. The scent is also very mild, so it is not an issue.

This is my favorite bath product for kids. It has a wonderful scent and is very gentle for sensitive skin. The only issue I had was my newborn daughter who needed special eczema products for her first 6mos. She could not use this product until after 6 mos, when her skin became less prone to eczema and rash. Now all of my kids use this as a shampoo and soap and we love it.

The lightly scented Aveeno has worked better than the other Aveeno bath wash/shampoos we tried. While all clean well, when we tried a lavender soothing type scent our baby got a rash/eczema/something. We had hoped that the other scent would be gentle enough (given that it was Aveeno), but apparently not. However, our baby probably inherited very sensitive skin from daddy, so if parents don't have sensitive skin you may have more choices on scent with baby. Given that all babies have "less tough" skin than adults I think any Aveeno scent is going to be a good starting place.
