Perfumey and pleasant
Recently I've made the switch from coffee to Asian teas because of the obvious health benefits. I ran out of Chinese black tea that had been imported from China, so I came to Amazon to see what I could find. I was surprised to find a black tea that was grown in Japan, even more surprised was my Japanese partner! That alone was a novelty, so I thought I must try it. The tea is quite fine, so make sure that your strainer or infuser doesn't have large holes or it will fill the bottom of your cup! The smell is pleasant and it does have a hint of something extra, I'm presuming it's the sakura. A good feeling. The overall taste is quite strong and perfumey, a little different than the typical earthy taste that you would find with other black teas. I'm not sure how to describe it but it's good. There's a slight after taste that leaves your mouth feeling mellow. The product is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I would 100% buy it again.

Tea
Its a bit expensive but omg this tastedand smelt amazing I was able to get a few brews out of one tea bag. You can brew with milk or leave it plain all different tastes.

My new favourite tea
Great taste or a mild black tea with fruity notes from the sakura, just make sure to follow the instructions and don't use water that is too hot or let it brew for too long or it ruins the taste. I have invested in a small teapot to allow the water to cool properly and to strain the leaves when I pour a cup.

Unique flavour
Bought this semi-impulsively, while searching for Sakura powder alone. Was not disappointed. A nice black tea, with a unique flavour of Sakura added. I drank this as a milked tea with sugar (it's how I like my tea), and the flavours were almost creamier with the Sakura. The aroma of the dry tea, as well as the infusion, is delicately floral. I first tried this in a single infuser ball, but some of the leaves and fannings are so fine they escaped to leave a lot of silt in the cup at the end. Though this did not overall spoil the flavour. When I next brewed in a pot and poured through a fine tea strainer, I was able to better decant off the extra fine parts, leaving them in the pot, resulting in a clearer cup. So I would recommend this method over the two if you find loose leaf and such at the end unpalatable.

Excellent value for black benifuki tea (and the sakura's a bonus)
I bought this because I was looking for a sakura tea, but it's actually the black tea base that turned out to be the best part of it. Black benifuki costs at least twice the price from my usual shop so it's an occasional treat – this is economical enough to be a daily cuppa, though, so I'm delighted to have found it. The sakura flavours are definitely there but they don't overwhelm the distinctive honey and mineral notes of the benifuki. A very refreshing tea, and yes, it's good with milk too.

Terrible taste
Avoid. Terrible taste. Not pleasant at all.

Delicately delicious
This tea is so much nicer than I expected. Unusual black tea but very light, and the sakura flavour overlays a hint of sweetness, like getting a smell of honeysuckle from a neighbour's garden. I think the key to this is not to use boiling water, as the instructions say. I find boiling a kettle and leaving it to cool for 5 mins after it's boiled does the trick.

Didn't like the taste
I give two stars because my wife for some odd reason liked the taste, but for me it just tasted awful.
