Great Time Clock Solution with Excellent Support We recently set up the NGTeco Time Clock App Fingerprint Employee Attendance Machine for our small business, and it has been a great addition to our daily operations. The device is easy to use, accurate, and works smoothly for tracking employee attendance through a password or fingerprint recognition. What really stood out was the customer support. Joseph was incredibly helpful during the setup process—he patiently walked us through the configuration, answered all our questions, and made sure everything was working correctly with the app.

Oh the hope it would be better. Was patient with it, but just was not a good fit. How do i get them to take it back. First was the fact it would not even register the finger prints of certain employees. They had 1 common factor, skin tone. During registration it would not even see the print. Next was the system works out of your phone, yes in shrinky dink phone, versus a computer. That means to check attendance, edit or any function, like adding a new employee, must be done through your phone. The app keeps wanting to disconnect from the machine even when on the network when reviewing attendance. Tried to change network by scanning the code to the app in the phone had no luck there either. Last straw was the reports. they are an absolute failure. If your parameters for the start day of the week are different than system default by even a day and you run report, it leaves off days and adds days and nothing aligns correctly on the csv table you can email to your self and this means that your payroll hours are wrong too. Almost faster to do it with pen and paper.

The clock is great. Tom was great helping out with the set up.

Once configured, works pretty good but this really tried my patience. I’m a tech guy and routinely work with all types of electronic equipment, specially network or intelligent devices. This was a pain to setup. Even with an WiFi AP 10’ away and full signal, the clock had trouble connecting. Getting the App to sync was another ordeal. After several hours, I was successful and the clock was running fine. Apart from that, the clock does what it is intended. I would say the two major drawbacks to this device is ease of configuration and its inability to use the app remotely.

I've been using this device to keep employee time since February 2023 (it is March 2024 now). Pros: Fingerprint scanner works with most employees. It has an app. It's light and easy to mount. You can send your payroll report to Gmail and other providers. Converts well into Google sheets or Excel. Cons: Starts getting wonky around 25 employees. Randomly disallows logging-in, required multiple attempts (frequent). "Forgets" someone punched in, counts punch-outs as new punch-in (this issue occurs every pay period). App is sloooooooooow to load the employee list. Fingerprint scanner has trouble with some employees (infrequent, but same employee prints).

This product is well-suited for small businesses. Installation and use are very simple, making it extremely convenient for managing employees’ clock-ins and clock-outs. The customer service is also prompt and friendly. In particular, Joseph, whom I spoke with, was very proactive and kind.

This time clock is the worst. It will not let me access it via the app, so I have to input a USB. It records Friday’s on Sunday, the fingerprint scanner barely works, and even punching in numbers doesn’t accurately record time. They also provide no support whatsoever. I’m not sure if you could find a worse device.

Easy setup and user friendly. Don’t need connecting to a computer, no subscription required. It’s great for the business!
