Good dog food with quick shipping
My dog is a drooly breed, going grain free has helped some. He devoures this dog food. Shipping was prompt and cans were dented but all were intact. Would order again.

A favorite food of my small dogs.
My dogs love this wet food. When mixed with dry it is a favorite dinner for them. Delivery was prompt. It's a bit on the pricey side but I only give a tablespoon in their dry food so it lasts. Loaded with chicken, it's sure to please.

Like the dog food but didn't like the packing that was done. A lot of dented cans and one busted open. No packing...

Chicken-ala-king
My dogs never turn up their spoiled noses at this. It looks like the chicken-ala-king my mother made. I like seeing the chicken chunks, identifiable vegetables, and sauce.

4.5 Stars, very good quality food.
This particular variety of Nature's Recipe is a very high quality canned dog food. Nature's Recipes Grain Free Chicken and Venison Stew contains exactly one ingredient that I'd rather not see on the label: sugar. Without the sugar, this would be a five star dog food. Dogs do not need sugar added to their diet, and with the amount of meat in this food it isn't needed for taste appeal. One sign of a better quality food is a specific type of meat named on the label. In this case, chicken, chicken fat, and venison. I also like that this food doesn't have protein from plants (like chickpeas), only meat. Because of this, it has a higher protein level than typical canned food while also having less fat and less carbs. My dog seems to really like the food, but she not at all a picky eater. She hasn't met a food she doesn't like. The food looks like stew, with large pieces of meat that looks real, not pressed into gelatinous chunks. It looks like the chicken you'd shred to make homemade soup. There are visible pieces of vegetables in the food and all of it is held together by a gravy that isn't too thick or too watery. It doesn't look like your typical canned dog food. These cans are a little smaller than the typical 13 ounce cans. I mix half a can in with my dog's morning kibble and she scarfs it right down. I'm somewhat particular about what I feed her and avoid dog food with grains, artificial colors, artificial preservatives, controversial ingredients, and unnamed sources of meat. While I am not thrilled with sugar as an ingredient in this food, I would still give it 4.5 stars.
