The Wilted Rose

Description

After a critical mistake during cosmetic surgery, a Super Model takes her own life. A year later, hospital employees in another city start showing up dead. Each body found with a red rose and a card attached that reads, "to cause or to become limp; to lose force; to deprive of courage or energy". Detective Makaila Adkins is a good ole country girl from the hills of Southern Ohio. Makaila is now Lead Detective with the Santa Monica Police Department. It falls on Makaila to figure out why people in her city are dying and who is killing them. While Detective Adkins' methods may be a little 'different' or 'hillbilly', the results are unbelievable. But is all of her county common sense going to help her in this case?
