Ember Sipping Lid for Travel Mug, Compatible with Any First or Second Generation Smart Travel Mug

Works perfectly with my Ember travel mug. Leak proof and I like the design and functionality better than the original one , which broke for me anyways.

The original top that came with the tumbler suddenly stopped working, it seems the spring in the pop top just gave up 😫. Not wanting to have to go through purchasing a new top after a few months of use, I chose to go with the sipping lid. It fit perfectly and so far has been easy to clean. I also no longer have to remember to push the top down before taking a drink. Now I can drink my coffee a lot easier

We've gone through two of the push down no spill lids that come with the travel mug. After that battle of the push down mechanism breaking due to being a rubber plastic that I don't think can stand high temperatures of heat over time. I gave in and brought this simple sip lid. Point blank no issues, fits tight as it should and easy to clean. If you have both like I do for my wife, I recommend after using the push down let it air dry for 2-3days on a dry rack were air can get to all openings after hand washing. I believe that after being exposed to heat the plastic softens and loses it's shape which causes the mechanism to pop out of place. Not to sure but that is the only explanation considering it's submerged in hot liquid every use if you fill it to the line. I suppose another tip would be not to fill it so high where the bottom of the lid is submerged in the the hot liquid for long periods of time. But then again that would be going against having a 16oz mug and only being able to use 12oz. Hopefully this helps you save money and peace of mind.

I bought this lid to replace the one I've been using all year. The lid wouldn't stay open, so I had to get something new. Luckily, this lid doesn't need to be pushed open and closed, so I know it won't break unless I drop it. I like that I can throw it in the dishwasher and it's fine, and I like that even though it's always open (the two holes), it still keeps my drink nice and hot. In fact, instead of a steady 140 degrees, I set me Ember to 135 now. I guess it's because it loses less heat since the two holes are so small. Anyway, I wish it was available in red to match my cup, but black works just fine too. 10/10 would buy again.

I bought this lid after the original lid cracked. Although I responded to the manufacturer’s review request, to ask about replacing the lid, I never received a response. This lid is as advertised. It is a sipping lid… meaning you cannot travel with it. However this is the only lid available for the travel mug. (on Amazon. I could not find accessories through the manufacturer) I had no choice. It defeats the purpose of exchanging my husband’s original gift of the mug for this cup. I wanted the travel feature. Now, to avoid wearing my coffee, I can only use it at home. I would tell hubby to get his money back next time he decides to shower me with such an expensive gift!! Other than that the lid twists on smoothly. I actually need to make sure it’s properly twisted on before moving about. It looks very sleek and uniform with my travel cup/mug.

I broke my original Ember mug top. This one works great! Its super easy to use. It is not leak-proof, as it doesnt have a way to fully close. However, that does not deter me in any way. The quality seems good and the heat holds great!

I’m really happy with the Ember sipping lid! It fits perfectly on my Ember mug and makes drinking my coffee so much easier, especially when I’m walking the dog or in the car. The design is simple but super functional—it keeps my drink warm and helps prevent spills. I also like that it’s easy to clean and doesn’t affect the taste of my coffee. If you have an Ember travel mug, this lid is definitely worth it!

Aufgrund fehlender Alternativen, musste ich diesen Ersatzdeckel bestellen. Er passt und mehr auch nicht. Es ist wirklich nur ein zudem noch offener Deckel. Und das zu einem Preis, wofür man eine gute Auswahl ganzer Thermo-Becher erwerben kann. Ist also grundsätzlich nicht zu empfehlen Außer man will eben unbedingt seinen Ember Travel Mug weiter nutzen.

Ive use the 360 leak proof lid and really like that you can drink from any side (specially while driving not needing to check) and also that its leak proof. However they keep braking on me every few months. Ember has been more than amazing with their customer service. I honestly cant day enough good about them but i decided to give this new lid a go for when im at the office. Lid arrived today and its nicely packaged and made of very nice material. Fits snug (hopefully that wont change) and sipping is easy. Very happy with both the product and the seller

I wanted an alterlid for the Ember travel mug - specifically one that could go in the dishwasher as I find the original lid is tricky to clean. This lid works really well and I use it over the original. Of course it is not leak proof but this is fine for use at my desk or in the car. The price is steep for what you get but I have had a lot of use out of it and get more use from the Ember flask as a result so worth it for me.

I bought this lid as two of the original lids for the travel flask broke. This replacement lid can't be closed like the original so you'll need to keep the travel flask upright. It's basically 25 quid for a piece of plastic with a hole in it. I'll also use this moment to point out that both of the ember mugs I have, have developed faults, 1 of the chargers and the app that's installed on my phone. It's all absolute junk.
