Good Quality Wood
Wood has gotten expensive but Old Potter is good quality and clean wood. I bought the cherry wood and will now be ordering the hickory.

Uniformly Cut
Love Old Potters. I’m in Texas and winters here aren’t long but when they hit, they can hit hard. Logically electric bill spikes so I started looking into using my fireplace to cut back on running the heater. Best. Choice. Ever! The wood is just fantastic. Pricey, yes but I like that the pieces are mostly uniformly cut (eg not a few good pieces and the rest just kindling). I like to log cabin layer between large logs I get from HEB. Smells divine and helps the fire last.

Good wood, just a tad short
It would be better if they were longer. 8” is a tad short and burns up more quickly than a 12” would.

I did not use for flavor...
I live in Oregon - used for heat. One Duralog and 1/3 the box heated my house to around 70° (1600 sqft) from 52°. It burns hot and quick! Great for camping - and guess what? You can cook with this wood FOR FLAVOR! 👍

Burns well.
Burnt well. Used it in our wood burning stove got us through 2-3 nights of zero degree weather while waiting for our cord to be delivered.

Not so good.
The cost of this was ridiculous for what was delivered. The wood was basically kindling. It lasted as long as a grocery store bundle you can get for 8 bucks. Never again for this wood.

Logs are perfect size for a fire pit
This product is perfect for a fire pit. Logs were easy to ignite and burned very well. Will definitely buy them again.

The type of wood may make a difference.....
Ok soo I brought this work twice and the first time I bought the oakwood and it was perfect for the fireplace and had light cracking! I decided to reorder and got cherrywood this time, my fault and decided to try it. Both times the size and cut was inconsistent. The second time alot of the wood was splitting cut looked off. There was alot of bark on these pierces. It also did not burn the same. Was kinda upset that I could not get any footage, but was too busy trying to prevent a fire! There was waaay too much poping and loudly like fireworks! There must be a ton of trapped moisture. Scared to use the rest of it now!......maybe its just they wood I got, but either way, the cut is inconsistent and size varies significantly.
