I don't know if this product is cruelty free, but I have used it and it works very well without any problems. It has no scent, blends in easily with skin, and is an over-all great moisturizer. I hope that helps. Best of luck!

could this be used exclusively as a night cream? looking for a cerave healing ointment dupe.

That’s how I’m using it, but you might find it a bit thin for the purpose unless you’re using it over serums.
