DURABLE and QUALITY MADE. Purchased for our company foreman to use on a commercial, new construction job site. Highly recommend! Will buy again if the need arises.

Compared to the Lifeproof Hand/Shoulder Strap (which is no longer made), the Breakaway Clip Safety Shoulder Strap for LifeProof NUUD/FRE iPad Case seems to be a reasonable replacement with several added features (i.e., safety breakaway feature, neck cushion, quick detachment clips). The attachment strings are small enough that they will fit into the tiny strap holes on a Lifeproof NUUD case, which is the main limiting factor preventing the use of other straps on the market. The Lifeproof Hand/Shoulder Strap had a tendency to come unhooked easily (especially if the fabric on the attachment strings were frayed down to the plastic core of the string. Will be interesting to see how well the rooCASE attachment strings hold up to fraying. I cannot tell if they have a plastic core like the Lifeproof Hand/Shoulder Strap did.

We use these cases for our ipads in construction. The little straps end up breaking off after about a year from excessive wear for some of our users however everyone loves the strap and we continue to buy them. It would be nice to be able to replace just the ends when they get worn. The break away strap is a bonus for safety.

Didn't even last a month before the strings broke. Would not recommend. Waste of money

Was loving it till one of the buckles broke. Had to figure out a workaround. Other than that its a great product.

Used this product to attach to my leather iPad case. Added a couple of brass eyelets (yes I had to punch a couple of holes) to my leather case and installed the strap thus producing a fully adjustable over the shoulder carrier. Will make it a lot easier than having to holding my iPad all the time.

This product is safe for our guys to have when they are taking pictures or videoing while having to climb a ladder or onto a truck

Anyone climbing ladders, working around rotating equipment, etc. where the device could get lodged and pull you into the equipment needs one of these. I sell industrial PC's and will never again provide an OEM strap again as they do not have the breakaway feature. Quality of the product is great. The people at rooCASE are phenomenal (especially Robert - Cudo's to you). Long term I'd love to see them use a heavier string to provide a bit more protection against abrasive wear of the the product. I'll probably check with them to see if I can get a box of these so I can replace them once per year.

Serves its purpose. May not be ideal if you have neck issues
