Bought my first pair in Hawaii on vacation at the start of 2018. At first I just thought, ok, they’re cute and they fit differently than others I see and own. Then I did everything in them daily from extreme labor in the yard, to multi mile walks, to just going out with friends. Flip flops are hands down my preferred shoe preference to start. These were like magic though because they fit every activity! Perpetually brand new, seriously comfortable, really cute flip flop perfection. Low profile, easy to pack, never lost their shape or even changed their shape, perfectly fitting the bottoms of my feet. So now in mid 2024 when they finally started to show wear at the thong, I came online to get the same style. Thank goodness they still have it. These are the same fit, just not the same color scheme, and I’ll miss my old color scheme, but I doubt I will for long! They’re just that good. Important on sizing is that I am always a 6.5, and in full size only option shoes, I’ve only otherwise ever been a 7. This is the only style I’ve ever been an 8 in, and I have been an 8 in both pairs. They were too short for my liking in the heel in a 7. So if you don’t like flip flops short on the heel, size up. I purchased my first pair of OLUKAI Ho'opio flip flops back in 2016 when my family was vacationing in Oahu, and they are my absolute favorite flip flops ever. In fact, they are my favorite footwear ever, and if I had to choose only one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of my life, I would choose these. I love them so much that they are the first pair of flip flops I ever wore until they couldn't be worn anymore because I wear them for literally everything--beach, date night, mowing the lawn, running errands--literally ANY occasion. Living in WI, I switch out the shoes I keep on my shoe mat next to our door to accommodate the seasons, but these flip flops stay out year-round because I wear them to drive my kids to school in the winter sometimes. Why are they so great? Because they're comfortable (even when wet), waterproof, quick drying, easy to clean, compatible with pretty much any outfit, and they are VERY well made. I wore the heck out of my first pair, and they lasted almost 7 years! I freaked out for a few seconds when the toe band detached on one flip flop last week, but then I remembered that I could just order a new pair. (By the way, this is the first time in my life that I've ever ordered a new pair of the exact same shoes.) While I waited for the new pair to arrive, I worried that the quality or construction of this flip flop may have changed the way they do with so many other products over time, but I'm very happy to report that my new Ho'opio flip flops are as awesome as the first pair I had! To the makers of this flip flop: Thank you for making such a high-quality product and for not changing the design over the past 7 years.

Perfect fit, just as advertised. My second pair (in another color) and they are very comfortable and have nice arch support.

I bought these in a gold/clay version about 4 years ago when I moved to Florida, randomly at a local boutique. These ended up being my favorite, most comfortable, and most durable sandal. I finally decided to buy them in black for more versatility with other outfits. The price is hard to swallow when you're considering a beach sandal, but let me just say that having had these for so long and with zero breakdown even after wearing the hell out of them is all the convincing I needed to spend $80 on another pair. I may even go ahead and get yet another color just to have a back-up pair in case they discontinue the style. I am currently waiting for the black ones to arrive and I only hope they're just as amazing. I will update the review if there's any change in my opinion.

Very comfortable! No more cheap flip flops for me.

I don't like to review things without using them/wearing them for a period of time. I bought these flip flops june 2024. I LOVE them! They are my favorite flip flops. Why? Because I have lower back issues. These flip flops have a built in arch support, are NOT squishy (which are bad for back issues) and are high quality. Nothing like an Old Navy (foam) flip flop. They are worth the money. These flops were worn on 3 beach vacations and throughout all last summer (2024) and I have brought them out for 2025 travel. They still feel/look great. I came back to order another pair for this summer and decided to review them. I have had no issues with the leather tearing or coming apart. Some reviews talk about them being heavy, but I don't think they are "heavy"as much as they are high quality materials (not just foam). They are not light weight but I beleive thats what makes them a good walking summer shoe. They have been worn at the ocean, in sand, walking on concrete and all over town. For sizing, I do wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 and they fit great, so maybe order up.

Perfect for my weak ankles. My feet aren’t tired and I feel the support is exactly what I need. They are cushioned enough that my feet are not tired walking on my tile floors. I have narrow feet , these fit very well. I do not slip out the sides. Four stars because the leather thong is a little rough on my toes. But I will add mole skin to soften. I will definitely buy again

My 2nd pair of these sandals. The first still looks really good after several years of a lot of use. They have even been wet from using them at the beach! So I wanted another pair in a different color. Hoping they are as good as the first ones!

Good sandals at the beginning but the graphic started to fade after a week of use (regular use, no salt water or chlorine), so really disappointing for the high price paid. Comfort is just ok, no different from my Havaianas… good sandals over all but do not meet expectations…

Cannot get better than OluKai. I have two different pairs and these ones are my favourite. Super comfy and they look so good on my feet.

The product was delivered earlier than expected and fits well. They are very comfortable and I was able to wash them with mild detergent and threw them in the dryer. I wore them after a rain and they got wet and so I hand washed them in a bucket of soapy, warm water. I removed the cushion insole before I washed them and wiped it down. These are amazing shoes! I absolutely love them!

Awesome quality as usual

Super comfortable and supportive for mt feet. I knock off 1 star as the foot bed wears fast and gets slippery long before the tread wears out. I don't wear them in the water, but i cant say they never get wet. I buy a pair every other year, because i make myself deal with the slippery-ness for an extra year due to the high price.
